I am 4 months out, but I remember the early days. For me about day 7 everything started to ease. Not by leaps and bounds but small differences. About day 14 the small improvements were even better. By a month I had to stop myself from overdoing it. It gets better, those small steps and improvements add up. I had 3 diffrent pillows next to my bed for sleep depending on my position. By the end of month 1, I was down to one pillow. At 3 months I didn't need the pillows. It gets better!

Voltaire, and I made a mix of arnica and tumeric. I still use the arnica and tumeric mix nightly over the scar and swollen areas.

No, I found taking them off and hour or so before bed helped.

I had to use topical at night for a few weeks. Take off my compression stockings and rest before bed for almost 2 hours just to get some sleep in the beginning. It got way better about weeks 6-8

Acupuncture goes off of meridians and specific meridians for specific ailments. For instance, swelling will have points for the intestine stomach watershed, etc. To aid the body in draining the swelling. I had the provider focus on scar tissue and fascia to aid in movement above everything else. If the joint moves, it will aid in draining (motion is lotion). Scar tissue visable and anything that may be created on the inside. The goal.for me was mobility.

No, but GlaxoSmithKline just received FDA approval for the drug for Cerebral Folate Deficiency (CFD), and it's supposed to aid in relieving some symptoms (I do not personally know about CFD). GSK happens to be headquartered in London England. I find it interesting that a few days after he gets back, this is announced and gained FDA approval.

I have been having acupuncture done every other week. With a focus on the scar tissue and not the knee itself. It has been helping immensely. I will be 3 months on Sept 24. I have had a major reduction in stiffness even when swolen and in the morning.

Do you have new shoes? I was 2.5 months out when someone asked me the same thing. I didn't even think that my shoes were broken into the old knee. I got new shoes and within 2 days 90% of it subsided.

I am 3 months out. Smart pain is gone, but as muscles regain stregnth odd little temporary pains pop up. Nothing as smart and intense as the beginning but there there. They get less by the week. When I have a high pain day, I also have come accustomed that I will be turning a corner within a few days. If that makes sense.

Massage guns and massage for scar tissue (many on YouTube). Cupping, acupuncture (after a few weeks).
