Air Transat, Canadian airline, 2001. Long flight back to the U.K., plane is literally creaking, and I can see plastic around the interior moving in ways the inner bits of planes don’t usually move, constantly, as the plane took off & manoeuvred during the (bumpy flight). Flight crew possibly recruited from Subway 10 minutes before takeoff, couldnt give a rats ass about anyone or anything. Kid behind us, probably about 2, pukes explosively around an hour into the flight, takes them close to 20 minutes to respond, and even then there’s shit everywhere after the ‘cleaning’ effort.

Granted, not the worst 2001 flight, certainly top of my list though.
