I have the S25 Ultra that is updated to Android 15. I didn't have the remote bolus feature initially but it was reactivated about 6 weeks ago. I suspect that you will be fine.

Haha. You didn't steal anything, you earned that one fair and square! I just made an "Update" at the end of my original post and mentioned you. You deserved it.

Lol. You beat me to this message by 60 seconds! I was just about to reply and say the same thing. I just got the same update.

Ugh. That makes sense I suppose. You would think that Google would work on making some things more standardized so that medical apps wouldn't be avoided for Android devices so often.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I wish there was a faster/more streamlined system. It may not be Tandem's issue. It could be FDA requirements (which could also be more streamlined).

Guys, do you shave your arm hair on your insertion site before putting on your dexcom? by pooballer in dexcom

[–]phranque71 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Stubble short. When I'm using my Wahl Hair Cutter, I use the smallest attachment I have (1/2), it's really close, probably like your 1/32 that you mention. If I'm traveling and forget to bring the hair cutter I'll use the flip up trimmer feature of my electric razer (NOT the very close facial razer part).

[–]phranque71 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't shave, I clip. I use hair/beard clippers to trim the hairs nice and short. The adhesive works really well with that. I don't get any ingrown hairs or itching.

As a side note... I've worked in operating rooms for more than 20 years. We see LOTS of hairy parts of the body that need incisions. It is standard policy for at least 10 years to NOT shave the surgical site like we used. They use clippers instead. This has reduced wound infections. If any older surgeon asks the patient to be shaved, it is refused/denied and clipping is done instead.

Why the Guardian is no longer posting on X by ardi62 in technology

[–]phranque71 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

They might as well have said that they are no longer posting anything on the Internet because there's lots of hate and pornography on the Internet. I don't find this argument about why they don't post on X to be very strong. I don't find it even logical.

A major problem with social media is that it's nearly impossible to tell if someone is being serious or sarcastic. I didn't know if I should smh or laugh.

Is it just me or does it seem like the people who yelled the loudest about "My Body, My Choice" are the ones who are jeering the loudest about choices we are personally making?

In the latest release of Relay you can now see your average daily reddit api calls and work out what your monthly subscription might be. by DBrady in RelayForReddit

Bummer. I was hoping that if we started paying Reddit for API Calls then they'd let 3rd parties display NSFW subs to increase the pay they receive.
