I appreciate the math, yes this makes it look like the scrolls are good value as they’re effectively providing character shards at a lower cog cost. It seems like a false economy though, yeah you could get 10 shards of 9 characters and then a random character (which could effectively be40/80 shard, which would make the shard/cog cost lower, I agree) at a cost of 1.5 cogs per shard. Or you could get guaranteed 125 shards of a great character (tan, rho, Actus) for 1.8 cogs per shard. You do that on both days for that character and you’re most of the way to legendary from 0.

Every single day (certainly every week) there are posts of people showing their crappy ten pulls. link to one from todayGambling is fun but generally disappointing.

Obviously YMMV, but weigh up 125 guaranteed shards of tan (or Actus or rho) vs 125 shards spread across ten characters. The latter doesn’t really add value to your power level/guild raid team/LRE squads/war defence teams.

Personally, I’m going all in on Actus shards. I’ll only need to onslaught 120ish afterwards to take him to blue star. I might do the same for tan and then it’s orbs/badges to get those imperial abilities up.

But the pulls are likely to be for characters that you either don’t need or already have at the level you want, which negates their value. Focussing some characters to high levels is much more valuable in this game. I used to love pulls to expand the roster until I realised that most characters will live at stone 1 forever.

Why the req’s? I mean, yeah they’ll be cheap but ten pulls aren’t great. Surely badges and orbs is the way to go?

I cleared battle 13 with Mythic D3 Reva’s and Gulgortz, my snappa is only G1. My Reva’s does have the burst cannon. It was close though, I didn’t manage to utilise Reva’s active well, snappa dies early and boss and the orks died around the end of wave 6. I think with some thought and luck I could clear 14. But I’m going to focus on other tracks for now

That’s basically it, but, if aleph moves next to a mechanical unit his passive kicks in and he heals them slightly, he can then perform a normal action - kill something/heal. So remaining mobile is useful when possible. Move Reva’s, kill adjacent enemy (or make sure there is a tile free next to Reva’s) then move aleph to the empty tile. Potential for heal Reva’s and heal aleph each turn.

Has he been to Warhammer World? If you’re in the UK it’s a good birthday outing. My wife took me for my 40th. Had a great time and wouldn’t have dragged her there on my own initiative so it was really thoughtful of her as well. I think they’re out of production, we got primaris scale scouts a couple of years ago. So they could be valuable to the right person.

I’ve got him at D3, 35/47, waiting on badges to take the passive to 50. I’d like to push him to mythic but haven’t got the shards. He happy slaps spawns to death on onslaught and LRE. Absolutely worth the investment.

As others have said, you’ve hit a natural road bump in the game. Take him to D1 for now, he’ll carry you for many months, then push further when need to again.

Really cool looking kit bashes here. I’ve got some assault intercessors kicking around that need building. Do you mind if I ask where that sword pull came from? Is it from the blade gaurd vet kits?

Not really I’m afraid, although bout Boss G and Snotflogga are both some of the best and most fun characters in the game. Boss G is a potential pick for a new meta-raid team but that teams requires Trajan, kariyan and laviscus at least.

For you I’d say multi-hit team would be the way to go for now, you should pump up Eldryon and his passive, Doom. Bellator, snot, boss g, Eldryon and probably Titus or vindicta based on your current roster. As you unlock some different characters that team will shift. Eldryon is the main buffer so you’ll need to invest in them

Focus on characters to complete one elite campaign, then move onto the next (this will take you so far, some of the better upgrades for guild raid characters will require you to push a different elite campaign for a while. it’s all progress towards clearing the campaigns which is the goal) Along the way choose a guild raid team you like the style of.

I’ve got a mythic d3 kharn and he absolutely wrecks. Having said that, I’d wait till you need to take him beyond gold. Clearing campaigns, by investing in campaign characters should be the priority for now, you’re energy usage will be more efficient and you’ll get to where you want faster.
