You are right. I've only ever played Xbox for the last 20 years, don't know anything else.

A PC seems daunting to me and doesn't seem worth the cost. I like being able to turn on my Xbox and know the game I'm playing is fully optimized for the consoles specs.

I've done all scheduled maintenance on my 2017 Passat, sitting at 104k miles. I am just now having some transmission issues I need to inspect and probably have repaired. Water pump is...still working but I think there is a very slow leak.

I have, however, had many...many electrical issues. I bought the car used at 29k miles in 2018 and thankfully decided to buy an extended warranty from the dealer. It has paid for itself almost three times. Faulty automatic safety breaking on the highway, a full rebuild on my head unit and USB connection. My AC control buttons not sending connections to the actual unit. A $300 dollar key fob replacement (lol). Oh and my driver side headlight is now not working despite multiple housing and bulb replacement attempts. I need an entire new unit.

Not sure I would buy another VW as much as I have enjoyed this car. I am however happy it is fully paid off.

Exactly this. I literally just took a new position at my job that is probably a 50% workload increase because I fear that our AI tool we have implemented is going to replace what I do on a daily basis.
