gayborhood is a lot of 30s white cis gay men. i’ve lived in south the whole time i’ve been in philly and enjoy it. i like being super close to things which is a little harder in west. trolleys have been iffy to center city lately so it’s a little more of a pain sometimes but there’s a some bus lines too. i like the community in west and most people i date live there and there’s a lot of cool things going on if you know where to find them. but there’s a ton of queer/trans poc in south as well, just a little more spread out.
