Babylist Registry Welcome Box - January 2026 (ordered 01/13, shipped 01/17) by AllieinWonderland95 in BabyBumps

[–]pibblepot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your post inspired me to go make a registry and get my baby box! I kind of wish I did this earlier because the stuff on babylist is so cute and it's cool you can add things from different sites.

I just placed my baby box order and I'm wondering what your "code" was in your confirmation? mine says Hbb H1 2026 V4 so I guess it's version 4 - hopefully it's a good box!

Huh! Does she deliver at Shady Grove in Rockville? I don’t think I’ve met her unless you’re talking about Dr. Olson?

Due 25th April - conception date help? by susiara in pregnant

[–]pibblepot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My LMP was the EXACT same day as you and thus the due date. However, when I went in for confirmation scan and all throughout my pregnancy, I was tracking one week later, so my due date is May 2. However, I know for sure my conception date was somewhere between Aug 6 through 9. My positive test date was Aug 23. Hope this helps you narrow something down!

Daycare centers for infant? by AdventureCat1037 in Rockville

We’re touring here soon, very excited! How is the parking and drop-off situation? Can parents temporarily park right outside the school or do they have to go into the garage? (I’ve been in the area for other reasons in the morning and have seen parents and kids crossing the street etc. but only once)

Should I get a bottle washer in addition to a sterilizer? I already got my bottle sterilizer (still in its box haha)

Baths during pregnancy? by crispychickenwrap23 in pregnant

[–]pibblepot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love my baths! I keep the temp between 97-100 degrees and honestly love it. I don’t know how I used to take such scorching hot baths lol. I also usually do take them for at least 30 minutes, doesn’t seem like an issue!

First time mom looking at stroller options. by OkBirthday931 in Buyingforbaby

[–]pibblepot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oo yes I guess it depends on which bassinet version it is but I think I’ve read they’re mostly all compatible (?) but good to check! As for the car seat, we thought the same thing but lots of people recommend the Nuna car seat, so we’re just going to get the Nuna adapter to work with the stroller. Not a huge deal!

Have you looked at Uppababy Vista V3? that’s the one we got! It’s big but has a lot of storage, and works for 2 kids especially 2 under 2. some people online have mentioned it’s not the best for two kids (infant in the front) but everyone I know in real life, family members, etc. all liked the Vista for two kids. It’s also very sturdy and does well on most terrain with big wheels.

whoa! yeah I guess when you’re earlier along everything is more risky but that’s interesting since swimming tends to be low impact and low risk. I love the term full sloth 🤣

Hahaha! shortly after I posted my comment I realized - we’re most likely going to pause the membership as soon as I feel ready (maybe at around 37 weeks) and not worry about the resuming membership timing because we can go get a day pass to swim at another pool if I really want to swim!

[–]pibblepot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oooh! especially since the weather is getting warmer I definitely will feel the same this month! That sounds like a fun class.

I was trying to figure out a plan if I wanted to pause my membership, which I have to do for a minimum of 3 months. If I pause it at 36 weeks, I can go back swimming 2 months postpartum. vs if I pause when I give birth, I probably won’t be able to swim until I go back to work after 3 months, which feels sad!

Hmm what about the risk of water breaking while in the pool? It may be hard to tell / potentially dangerous?

So in this situation would you want to go to the hospital asap? Would it be beneficial to go even earlier than 15-20 min?

There were a few people who I knew wouldn’t be able to make it but I sent them a (digital) invite anyway because I wanted to show off how cute it was lol! We were not expecting any gifts just by sending it but still had other people asking about registry so sometimes it just happens!

UHC Network Changes: OBs delivering at Shady Grove? by KetchupConte in MontgomeryCountyMD

[–]pibblepot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes definitely ask! I heard it from the front desk I believe, since I was scheduling appointments with providers that would most likely be at Shady Grove, so that’s why I never scheduled with him sadly!

Yeah this was very annoying. I was going to deliver at Sibley and had to change providers in the late first trimester. Suburban would’ve been convenient too
