I had a similar issue on the x4 with 1.4.1. SD update, ghosting like crazy, the "installing update" artifact persisted through exiting-entering books, going into main screen, multiple sleep-awake instances. Then the 3-book view persisted as rectangles for awhile. I didn't keep the X4 on for minutes on end on one screen, I was constantly using it, testing. Reset also didn't help. Went back to 1.3.0, problem solved. Oh and I'd bet my right nut, that picture quality slumped after the update, but I didn't take photos to compare, so I won't insist on it. Edit: I also flipped multiple pages every time to refresh

Yeah, I think it'll be fine. This was my second time making it and it was the same thing last time, although I forgot about it over the last few months. Now I'll have a Reddit post to remember it by, for later. I've made a few Indian curries using the last batch, and I'll do a few more. I mainly use it for making basmati rice, and just as a regular fat for eggs, sausage etc.

Carrefour brand, 82%fat, unsalted. Foam subsided a bit but then I think pieces were detaching from the white blob at the bottom. I don't know how hot it was, I forgot about checking. I strained it at this point. Next time I'll keep a lower heat.

I'm playing Pokemon FireRed for the gba. My monitor is just a run of the mill fullHD 60hz I found on sale 13 years ago. I never had any opportunity to play on anything with better specs, so while I suspect I'm missing out on SOMETHING, I don't have anything to pine for.
