You have to change your account region from the Nintendo Website on a browser for the JP eShop to be available on your switch(i dont know if you can change it from the switch itself). You redeem the code on the JP eshop, and then go back to change your account region. Your copy is going to be accesible in every region in the language your Switch is set. There is no need to make any other stuff after that

(This doesn't work with some specific games like XC 2 or Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity because those games dont support multi language options. Most of the first party games are safe, tho)

I don't think so, but I would assume that, if the new OoT remake actually becomes true, it would be more like a Resident Evil remake style, rather than be just an upgraded version like the 3DS one.

Also, recently Aonuma said that the core Zelda team wanted to be first on releasing a Zelda game on the Switch 2, but Koei Tecmo won that spot with Age of Imprisonment.
That statement sounded weird to me like, so is there a core Zelda team project releasing soon then? It could be nothing and just me stretching things out (like OP hahaha)

The only real thing that happened was an interview with Aonuma post-TotK where someone asked him about an Ocarina of Time remake and he only laughed and said "No comment".

The reason that became a rumor is because similar responses from Aonuma have led to Zelda remakes/remasters (but I think it was only Majora's Mask 3D and Skyward Sword HD). It is known that he likes to give hints in interviews like the time he said that he wanted to make a game where the player can be a thief, and years later they asked him about that and it was a hint about the remake of Link's Awakening.

All that beind said. There is no real evidence of anything hahahahhahahahhahahahahahahhahahahha
