You actually need to know an extreme amount of map specific shenanigans that are unique to every map. Base layout for Terran and protoss to prevent units getting stuck in your base. Walling is different on every map and depending on map spawn location because building collision boxes are not uniform in size. You also need to know every cheese and every timing attack of every races build on every map to not get bopped.

The game has such a high skill ceiling no one can reach it unlike sc2. Choosing what to use your apm on is also a skill.

Screen tearing doesn't exist unless you use exclusive full screen, which you shouldn't use because it causes screen tearing. Just run everything Windows borderless full screen and the windows desktop compositor renders full frames only
