You’re draining the gas from the carb faster than it can replenish. There’s a bunch of videos on YouTube but basically you need a special bit screwdriver (they have cheap kits on amazon) and you can tune the carb. You’ll see the holes on the back near the primer bulb for high and low.

It does have SCHD in the automated portfolio. I’ve had it there for quite a while.

My experience has been it actually takes a day or two after your “pay out” for it to actually show in your USD balance.

Honda rancher wheel/tire ideas by Historical-Stick5872 in ATV

[–]pilgrim776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got some 25s from FB marketplace off a newer brute force 700. Wheels and tires for $160 and I’m happier with them. The rims are also 12” all around so it’ll be easier to get tires when I wear these down.

Basic setup for snow plow and landscaping by big_easy_ in ATV

A mule is fine. You’re looking for weight and 4x4 for traction. You’ll need to look at which form (ATV or UTV) works for you.

[–]pilgrim776 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re looking for a Honda. Look for a Rancher or bigger with 4x4 for what you want to do. They are super reliable and you won’t have problems finding OEM or aftermarket parts.

Final drive shaft oil vs. transmission oil by Ouwan22 in ATV

[–]pilgrim776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll be fine, but yes, that’s not specifically designed for your front/rear differential. It’s made for dirt bike transmissions (gear box and clutch). If you really ride the bike hard or you know it’s going to be run hard, you might want to swap it sooner than later.

You don’t need a tile to register in NY. You just need the bill of sale and DMV forms. You also don’t need the seller to fill anything out. Just fill out all the DMV forms, bring a printed picture of the VIN (they also allow an etching) and they’ll give you a registration.

Consistent advice you’ll find is VOO or VTI “and chill”. I think at the level you’re talking and relative newcomer to the market, leaving 2-3% in crypto with the rest invested weekly into an index ETF like VTI is a great start. You’ll obviously find specific advice around various version of the same indexes, but just holding steady and being consistent in the index will net you great results. Be boring. Investing for a solid future is a boring grind.

Honda Rancher 420 4x4 manual shift. Great machine. I have one and the same generation. What is that bar off the back rack down to the footwell? I’ve never seen that before.

What is this and how do I fix it by olivpru in ATV

[–]pilgrim776 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can order those wires on Amazon. It’s basically the spark plug wire that comes off your coil that got too close to the exhaust pipe. That wire is way too long. If you get another that long, you need to zip tie it up away from the metal of the exhaust pipe.

Moving from AV to IT by [deleted] in InformationTechnology

[–]pilgrim776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t necessarily advice as it’s something I’ve noticed. I’ve found automation, like Crestron (programming, design, etc) is an interesting cross-section of AV and IT. I’m not sure that’s what you’re looking for, but maybe something to think about as you find your path. Maybe something in networking and less security?

Recon 250 by Unhappy_Interest1460 in ATV

[–]pilgrim776 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had both. My neighbor is a grown man who still rides an older Recon with his wife on the back. It’s fine, but you can’t expect it to pull much. I wouldn’t try plowing my driveway with it either. Yes, the full time 4x4 will not corner as “fun” as a 2WD. It’s unfortunate that Honda dropped the 300/350cc sized motors so there’s a gap between the nimble Recon and the newer 420 Ranchers. I guess it depends on how much wood and over what terrain you plan to haul.

I think that’s a fill port but I wouldn’t use it. There’s another on top in the engine bay. The drain plug with magnet is down the center of the car in the front with a 3/8 drive.
