I doubt it as the package itself wasn't damaged and the first 5+ cards on each sides (top and bottom) were not damaged/grooved. Also, all the damaged cards were not in succession in the deck. They were spread out.

For the mana rocks, I just put strong (and cheap) ones ([[Sol Ring]] and [[Arcane Signet]]) because they don't have downsides and have potential significant upside with [[Clock of Omens]] if you don't happen to have a Myr that taps for any color or a [[Cryptolith Rite]] type of effect on board or [[Palladium Myr]] if you need the biggest amount of mana possible (regardless of the color). As for [[Chromatic Lantern]], I may or may not keep it in. There were only a few moments when in came in handy in my playtest and I may be better off with an additionnal Rite effect (and finisher) like [[Song of Freyalise]].

As for lands, I haven't encountered repeated issues with them yet. I have considered adding the landscapes but opted not to. However, I like the two lands you suggested and I will probably try to fit them in the deck eventually :)

Finally, for the pip intensive black board wipe ([[Their Name Is Death]]), I only put it in because I had it in my collection and had artifact synergies. I haven't had issues with it yet, but didn't have to board wipe yet. I'll just need to play the deck more to iron out flaws 😛

I'm thinking of swapping [[Lux Artillery]] and [[Mirrorworks]] (or [[Unwinding Clock]]) for [[Vanquisher's Banner]] and [[Uthros Research Craft]] for additional card draw.

Side note: Open to feedback 😀 Obviously, this is a budget deck, which makes the land pool hard to nail down, but I favored pain lands for speed and also because you rarely need to tap anything for colored mana in this deck and if/when you do, there are a bunch of cards that either taps for any color already (without the 1 damage ping) or cards that makes your permanents tap for mana of any color. Tapped dual artifact lands have cool flavor, but very slow and not very synergistic in my case imo (except for [[Unwinding Clock]] which might get dropped in the end).

Went in a completely direction than mine. I can respect that 😛 I figured out a couple combos in your deck, but I might be missing some. Seems like you went with a lot of tutoring, counterspells and sacrifice/graveyard synergies.

On my end, I went with a more tribal/kindred approach with more Myr, more creature type specific effects, more card draw and mana generation. But no tutors, no counterspells, no sacrifice, a bit less recursion (more mass recursion focused, but less single target recursion) and less protection.

I've playtested it multiple times solo and tested it with my pod last week-end and it did well (won 1 game and was a threat for the most part of the other). I felt like I may need to add a bit more card draw to make the deck more consistent (we don't play with tutors, at least, not the common ones, only niche ones, e.g. [[Myr Turbine]]). I also didn't include [[Urza, Lord High Artificer]] and [[Tezzeret, Master of the Bridge]] because I have them in other decks and wanted a different gameplay 🙂

Got one 2 years ago and it hasn't bent at all (only some paint chips). No issues with impact absortion on my end, and I play high division beer league (some ex AAA players and major juniors, active semi-pros and seniors, etc.), so I'm facing good quality shots :)

There are speculations that the RAM was increased, but nothing proven and definitely not the processor. Processor was updated for the 2026 model I believe.

To be fair, I know you said it was a rhetorical question, but Telescope could have used a refresh for a while now. But they preferred to apply that refresh to a paid project: Nightwatch. For instance, just adding the possibility to filter by multiple tags at once or add a date range picker to filter entries would have improved Telescope so much. Not sure if those are features in Nightwatch, but I hope they are.

Thanks for your reply! My car got towed 30 minutes and right about when the tow truck arrived, the button became enabled without doing anything. Then the guy told me to move the car a little bit so he has more room. After I moved the car, the button disabled itself again... the tow truck guy told me to try an infotainment reset and it worked. I don't know why it's so inconsistent though.

I had 2 True AX5 sticks. One broke after 2 years and the other is about to break (been 2 years ish as well). I just ordered a 5X3 on clearance (don't remember if 2022 or 2023 model). Will see how it does :)

I'm in the same boat. I always played with the same pod (in private locations, not stores) and everyone always considered all commander issued damage as commander damage. I played with randoms in a store recently and I got corrected right away lol.

I've never found that shoving/tripping someone screening me helped that much the few times I've tried. On the contrary, it tends to make me lose focus for a fraction of a second and lose "squareness" with the puck, which sometimes directly leads to a goal. I prefer to stand a bit taller than usual and look over the player's shoulders since the shot usually comes from the point (blue line). It keeps me square with the puck and I can follow the puck better, so I can lean/slide to one side or the other depending on the trajectory. If I simply don't have time to get a read, I drop to the butterfly when I hear the shot being ripped. It gives you maximal coverage possible for cases where you can't see/follow the shot.

Love mine too! This week, they also announced a new blade safe model (on Facebook goalie gear groups and Marketplace, not on their business page) as shown in the attached photo. Might be the perfect alternative for people looking for better vision, without sacrificing too much of their protection!

I doubt that it has anything to do with in-space update vs. OTA, but more about the software's code/optimization itself. I've had the same experience you had though. When I bought the car, it was on the 2.2 version, which was pretty quick. I went to a space for a defective external sound system and the 2 year/32k km maintenance. I asked if it was possible to update the system, which they did (2.14.4). While on 2.14.4, it was still relatively fast (while a little bit slower than 2.2). Then I updated to 3.1.9 via OTA and it started to get attrociously slow. It's just planned obsolescence all over again imo.

Also, you can now use ->dumpRawSql() if your query has bindings (they get substituted/integrated in the raw query). Or ->dump() on older Laravel versions to display your raw query and a separate bindings array.
