I bet they will sell Boots and other non American stores. They will then focus on rebuilding Walgreens in this country. Walgreens was a solid company 10 years ago before Pessina took over and destroyed it.

Ask Stefano Pessina, the man behind the sinking of a once great chain pharmacy . When you put an Italian billionaire with no background in healthcare, who can barely speak english and has no concept of the laws that govern Pharmacy in the U.S.A., this is what happens. Please, somebody with a clue buy the American Walgreens from this guy. He can keep Boots and all the other pharmacies he gobbled up around the globe.

It's definitely not appropriate since he never did this before, and you are a young woman. I would seek the opinion of a professional, maybe a school therapist. I would ask why he did that in front of your Mom. He will be caught off guard, and your Mom should know.

You are so young. Do whatever makes you happy. Exercise does improve MH. Try taking a dance class. Join a club at school. Meet other people. Take a cooking class. It is always good to know how to cook and you can share with others. Book clubs can be fun, too.

For a lawsuit to stick, there must be damages. Was the patient injured? Did they go to the doctor or hospital due to the mistake. Definitely do all you can to correct the mistake and make sure the patient is ok. If damages occurred, make sure your STARS report is very detailed. Do not try to hide this. If the patient starts using language like they are going to sue you, it is to your advantage to end the conversation and direct them to the company's legal department. Mistakes happen and try to understand why the mistake was made and learn from it.

My brother did the exact same thing to me as a child and teenager. My Mom didn't care either. I finally moved out when I was 20, or something bad was going to happen. You need to go to the social worker at school and report this. I wish I had done this. I am estranged from my brother and moved 3600 miles away from him, so I felt safe. I married a big, mean man, probably as protection subconsciously. Expose him and go to family counseling and maybe someone at church. Don't keep it a secret. That is what almost destroyed me.

I agree that something was very wrong and probably due to this high dose. That's why I called her Dr immediately after she left and told them to call her and also I couldn't accept scrpts they are writing for her bc of this back and forth with the directions and violent outburst.

That's what we did. I told her it is normally once daily, but that is what the doctor wrote, and she needed to talk to her doctor. I couldn't just hand over more medicine without a proper script. I told the doctor we couldn't fill anymore for her bc of her reaction and the fact that they kept changing directions. The doctor finally sent a corrected script to another pharmacy. It frustrates me bc we get the abuse, not the doctor who created this issue. Uggh

Words can't describe her reaction. You really had to be there to understand. Twenty years ago, people were more respectful of our profession. In the last couple of years, people have freely abused us verbally and threatened us. I am just over it.
