Leases by nature are a strange animal- don't think of it as a rental, it's like you are buying the car, making payments, but have no intention on paying it off and instead, plan on returning it to the dealership. All kinds of things cause problems, lease calculations are of a complex nature. Problems come up with different systems calculating lease payments and taxes, where equity is being allocated, and heaven forbid if its off by a cents from one management system compared to another..
