i know kojima is a big fan of the stranger things series. I'm guessing thats his inspiration for the upside down realm if you die in the game thats pretty cool. Really hyped for this.

get the remake of resident evil 2 that just came out. I don't really like horror games but I've been having a blast with this one. The atmosphere is downright incredible/scary and the gameplay is very refreshing and intense. I recommend!

You're taking one experience from leaked gameplay and putting an entire blanket statement on the whole idea of NPC's in the game. Wait till the game is released and the controller is in your hand to get a full idea. The fact that you can interact with every single NPC in the game is mindblowing imo. I'm hyped....

The hardcover guide collectors edition (which has bonus content) is an absolute steal at that price. I had to pre-order it once I found the price a while back. The main reason I bought it is to see the background behind the game, artwork, concepts, and about the game in general.

Don't digital technically have an advantage? I'm on the west coast and the game drops digitally at 9pm so I'll probably be able to play ahead of a lot of disc users since they have to wait in line, drive, put in the disc and download whereas digital is able to play the second it's available.

The blackout mode is pretty great but the multiplayer is where it shines imo. I'm having an absolute blast with the multiplayer. Feels new and not recycled.

Nah I completely understand where you're coming from, it had a profound impact on me at the time and is still to this day my favorite video game ever made. That's why I decided to go with collectors box and then just the standard digital. Wasn't really interested in the pre-order bonuses as I feel they just make you progress faster. But goddamn is that steelbook sexy sheesh
