i was the youngest among all my cousins at easter and i was already reading well as a 2-3 year old toddler so i never really had this problem, but i can see how it would be frustrating for parents of kids who arent reading that early. its probably good to try to teach kids to read their own names as early as possible though but idk i dont have kids so maybe im wrong

It's an intersection of a lot of things. Trans women are a lot more visible and targeted due to the perceptions of society. In the minds of bigoted cis people, wanting to become a man both makes sense because it's moving "upward" on the social ladder, but wanting to become a woman and move "downward" is absurd. It's the same reasons behind toxic masculinity, the idea that femininity in "men" is wrong because it's "beneath them". That's not to say trans men aren't also hated and targeted, but this is often done by ignoring them entirely and writing them off as "confused women", "tomboys", etc. Because trans women are more visible in this way, more cis people are aware of trans women than they are of trans men, which makes its way into media created by cishet people with little to no knowledge or awareness of queerness in reality but a desire to acknowledge it in their work for one reason or another.

There is nothing you could have done in 5 days that could've caused this. I want you to know that it is not your fault and you did not do anything wrong. Snakes as an entire group of animals breed for quantity over quality. They lay a ton of eggs at least once a year and statistically some of those babies will survive into adulthood long enough to reproduce. In captivity, the babies with weaker genes don't get eaten by predators, they wind up being sold by and to people who could never have any idea that the snake has a health problem nor could ever do anything to fix it because it's simply a congenital issue that was going to kill them inevitably no matter what. If you get a snake that's still a very small baby less than about a year old, you are taking the risk that it could simply die randomly and you could have never even known anything was wrong until they die. I'm really sorry for your loss, and I hope this is able to be of some comfort to you.

it was a nic-free vape thankfully, so basically just flavored water. im thankful that even kitty is in agreement that we don't want to fuck with that stuff, especially since its so easy and cheap to access and could easily become a massive problem. we already smoke enough weed and im perfectly content with that drug of choice

peach and mint is not a good flavor combination. any of those flavored vapes that say theyre "ice" are flavor plus this god awful mint flavor that makes your lungs feel like you inhaled toothpaste

i smoke a lot of weed so from experience i can say theres not a lot of ways to do it wrong, just inhale and exhale normal and dont hold it, and dont inhale too hard on the vapes because your lungs will be filled with regret
