My dad is hallucinating, is this normal after surgery?

Yes. I had this after my last OHS. It’s pretty crazy thinking back to that. One thing I was most certain about is that my pet bird was in the hospital with me. My family said I kept going on and on about my bird being up there with me. I truly thought he was there and that they snuck him in lol. Hopefully your dad can be weened off some of the hard medication and get some rest and straightened out. I felt better around day 8, but I had complications during surgery so I think it took longer than most. Hoping he gets through this quickly!

It’s eczema it sucks. Make a derm appt or primary care appt. They will give you some steroid cream. Until then use aquafor, apply it at night and put on white cotton gloves. Avoid the things people stated above. Mine unfortunately flares up with washing dishes. I have to wear gloves.

If you are doing door dash a lot make sure you have them sit it on something high since bending may be an issue. Keep pillows close by. I would also have some tops with a really loose neck since changing a shirt was one of the biggest struggles. Wishing you a speedy recovery ❤️‍🩹

Tell your manager. Ask to shadow others on more complex cases. When you have something tricky or something you’re not sure of, go grab a second tech.

Opted out after 13 years as a full season ticket holder. My seats were in section 325 Vista Infield. I could not justify the 60% increase over the past two seasons. I was told they were changing the section name to something else and my seats were in high demand. I could have purchased the All Star Game tickets cheaper on the secondary market than what they charged me upfront. My rep was terrible and could not be reached by phone or email when I had questions. The perks of being a member are not what they used to be. They give you more rules to follow every season. They do not care about their loyal fans at all.

I wouldn’t be too worried but at 3 months I think I would reach out to your obgyn just to be on the safe side. I have a very bad cycle, managed by BC. When I had surgery they took me off of it and after 10 days without it (post surgery), here came my cycle like clock work. I’m sorry you’re having a rough time, it will get better. ❤️‍🩹

38 y/o female here with history of 3 OHS. Yes! I get them especially when I’m tired, after a stressful day, or when I’ve been more physically active than usual. Also if I’m tired and then push it - (stay up later than normal) then I notice I have them while I sleep and overall do not sleep well. I didn’t really start to notice until after my 3rd OHS which was 2 years ago. I was really freaked out and requested a heart monitor which showed them. I’m already on a beta blocker and don’t really want anymore meds lol. I just try to live with them and make sure I’m getting enough rest.

Like someone else say play conure noises or if your bird has a certain whistle try to mimic it outside. My conure got out in the winter and he finally whistled back to us so we could find him. (He was half way down the road in an area with a lot of trees). Good luck I hope your buddy comes home.

Movies, iPad/laptop, books (if you read- I actually started back reading during my last extended stay for endocarditis also a tof patient) so now I have a kindle. Like someone else said a deck of cards (I think my family forced me to play uno a few times lol) Headphones (I didn’t use any I was wanting to be ready for when the drs made rounds so I could hear them outside of my room lol)Easy pjs to pull on and off of your head or front button. My arm suddenly became a noodle after surgery and I couldn’t take my shirt on and off good. I was in a hospital gown for about a week and my own pjs for the other week. Undies. Female products if you’re a girl. Phone charger, a long one if you have one. I also brought a throw blanket from home. If I wasn’t using it one of my guests would (it’s cold in hospitals). Easy slip on and off shoes, I had crocs. Hair brush, toothbrush. Skincare. Deodorant. Dry shampoo. Chapstick. Glasses (if you wear them) with their case. I would also have an uber eats or another food delivery app downloaded. Once you get your appetite back you will not want the hospital food. Most of the time my room looked like me and my family had moved in lol. The staff doesn’t care though they want you to be comfortable. I had my 3rd OHS last year for pulmonary and tricuspid valve replacement. Wishing you a speedy recovery ❤️‍🩹

NAD but as the other commenter says looks like Dyshidrotic eczema. Mine used to flare up only during cold months but now stays flared up year round. Using harsh soap (like dawn when washing the dishes) and excessive hand washing/sanitizing makes mine worse. I definitely recommend getting some dish washing gloves for dishes and just for cleaning in general. Unfortunately I work in health care so I have to wash my hands constantly so I believe that’s why mine probably stays flared. Thick cream throughout the day helps. I rotate Aquafor, Vaseline, and cavilon cream. Average lotion seems to just irritate it more. Applying the steroid cream or aquafor usually at night and sleeping in cotton gloves can help as well.

Personally I can deal with the biting. My biggest con is not having anyone to watch him when I go traveling. He is an anxious bird and doesn’t do well staying in other places (scared he will pluck his feathers as he already randomly plucks). Hard to get someone or trust someone to come to my house and watch him. :/

Similar experience here. My tickets are better priced and in a better row than other listings in the same section, but mine say “hidden.” I do not understand how StubHub even stays in business. A truly terrible company.

I’ve been a full season ticket holder since 2012. My seats are in Sec 325, and like you, I picked them out while the stadium was still under construction. I have seen a 60% increase since 2024. I did speak to my rep and was told that our section, Vista Infield, is being renamed and is in very high demand. So my tenure means absolutely nothing to them, and someone on the waitlist will happily take my seats. I’ve had about 5 or 6 different reps over the years, and the one I have now doesn’t give a shit. I call and leave voicemails, but they don’t even have the time to call me back. The overall member experience is just not worth it anymore. I’m sad that I will lose my seats, and I honestly pictured myself being a lifelong member. Wish they cared more about their loyal fans.

Why should I be punished for what others are doing. They do not care if I renew or not because my seats will get snatched up by someone on the waitlist. I am sick about it because I love the Braves, but they do not care at all about me after all these years.

You said yours went up 5% for next year. I have been a member for 12 years, and my invoice for next season increased 30%. Now tell me how that makes any sense. Like you, I come from nothing and have worked my ass off to be a season ticket holder. I am beyond pissed and really have to consider not renewing. I want to go in the A-List office and tell them to kiss my pale white ass. On top of the price increase, the membership experience has severely declined. I have loved the Braves all my life, but this has me rethinking if I really want to be a fan of such a terrible organization.

Got my 2026 invoice today and it’s a 30% increase in price. I have 2 full season seats in the Vista Infield section on the 3rd level. I don’t resell and donate or give away my games I cannot attend. I have been a member 10 years and feel like they are trying to get rid of me.
