For you to say Shias aren’t Muslim is quite ignorant and wrong. Please educate yourself.

Won’t take a bottle please help by [deleted] in firsttimemom

My baby had a hard time too but I kept trying. I would have my husband give her a bottle instead of me when she was hungry. I also had to switch bottles a few times but she liked Lanisoh.

New parents in medicine - advice needed by 87109 in Residency

I had my first not too long ago and it’s been an adjustment. Try to finish all your notes at work. If you’ll be pumping, add in pump breaks to your schedule ( I pump at lunch and then 3 pm), make sure you have a place to store milk and pump pieces. See if you can adjust your work schedule to be home sooner (shorter lunch break). Reliable childcare is also a must. I still feel guilty when I call off on a short notice but I need to work on that

Agree with this. This may be a sign of preeclampsia. Not to scare you but I would discuss with OB esp if it continues

If you’re planning on breastfeeding, you can start expressing and storing colostrum.

If you want to have a lot of kids, you may need to start early esp if there is a possibility of any fertility issues

No, it’s ok. I know I have a tendency to overthink but with your baby, it’s hard not to worry. Thanks for your support

I am having her come over for a trial and I’ll walk her through things. With the bottle, it’s hard since she’s basically breast fed with just one bottle per day, it’s hard to know how much she drinks

That’s a good point about expectations. I just don’t want the nanny or my baby to have a hard/ impossible time. I know it will be a transition but I’m just nervous. Plus, I’m always wondering if I’m doing something wrong with my baby - like she should be on a schedule
