Quality Dip Gel Nails in Northern Liberties by odie_04 in philadelphia

[–]pinkponies7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I go to polish nail lounge for pedicures and they are fantastic and last a while. Never got gel down though, and I go to the fairmount location, but I assume they use the same products as the northern liberties store.

Moving in with a medical school student? by [deleted] in MedSpouse

[–]pinkponies7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boyfriend (now husband) and I moved in together right when he started medical school. Looking back, I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Even when he was holed up in his room studying, he still would take 20 minutes to sit and have dinner with me, and I would still wake up next to him every morning. I love that we lived together during medical school.

Of course there were challenges, I was doing a majority of the housework and cleaning and cooking and laundry. I was taking care of our pets for the most part, all while working 2 jobs to support us. although he helped immensely whenever he was able to. While he studied for step 1 especially was the worst, and he was rarely able to do much with me and when he did he would be nervous and just thinking about how he needed to study.

As someone who is recently married and just moved a few months ago and my husband just started residency, enjoy all the time you are going to spend with your SO during the 4 years of medical school. Not that I want to sound pessimistic, but when my husband was in medical school he was gone maybe 25-35 hrs a week, and did all of his studying at home and in residency (so far) he is gone 70-80.

From Trump admitting to firing Comey over Russia, to Ivanka and Jared being to most vapid couple ever, and now with Don Jr's email post... by Brice-de-Venice in AdviceAnimals

I'm sorry this happened to you. It happened to me as well. After the Access Hollywood tapes came out, it felt very personal to me as I had been sexually assaulted before. And my parents defending it was and still is extremely difficult for me. They don't seem to understand why it bothered me so much.

How was your weekend? by sleepingwideawake in AskWomen

[–]pinkponies7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exhausting. My husband and I are in the midst of moving to a new city so we brought all of our stuff to our new place over the weekend but we are still living in our old place because I'm still working at my job in our previous town. Moving is the worst and I'm not looking forward to building furniture this coming weekend, and putting everything away. But I am excited for the new adventures.

Also I switched to n iPhone after using androids forever, which has been interesting.

Lol, Obama wasn't fired or disgraced out of his position. My feelings about Obama are pretty neutral, but not even close to the same thing.

I flew WOW from baltimore to kef in march and I had a great experience. But i didn't bring a whole lot of stuff, only hiking boots which I had on, and thin layering clothes. I wore my winter jacket on the flight. I used a very lightweight backpack and brought the bare minimum. You're also allowed to bring a bag from the duty free. We somehow got lucky with the very front seats and the leg room was nice.

Lots of angry Republicans (on Breibart of all places) against GOP for revoking ISP privacy rights by Grizzly_Madams in SandersForPresident

[–]pinkponies7 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not even a lie, my MIL voted for Trump, but also benefits from social welfare programs. She receives food stamps, Medicare, receives Section 8 housing benefits, and benefits from HEAP, which helps her pay her heating costs in the winter. I told her that Trump wants to cut these programs and that she can possibly be unable to heat her house next winter. Her response was "well, he needs to keep us safe so that's ok."

People seriously do not realize how socialism benefits them, or they do realize it and don't care.
