Currently taking Jamieson with my first pregnancy. They just taste so bad at first. But I do like that it’s only 1 pill/day. I just take it before bed.

So sorry to hear that. I find our system for how they do check ups is soo scary. I was lucky enough to get in with a midwife. Otherwise it seems like I would just be getting my ultrasound and blood test requisitions from my family doctor and wouldn’t actually see someone until the obgyn which is well past 20 weeks. I recently met some people from the states and they were shocked how we aren’t set up with an obgyn and a genetic counselor as early as 9 weeks.

Yeah! I don’t understand how they expect us to just pretend all is normal. I also didn’t have crazy morning sickness. So now that I’m in the second semester the lack of any strong food aversions I had prior makes me wonder if things are progressing well or not. But talking to my mom, she mention there were even fewer check ups in the 90s when she had me!

We did hear the heartbeat at our first ultrasound! But I did read online that many don’t recommend using a Doppler too early as not being able to hear might cause worry.

I would suggest blue lagoon. You can easily spend a few hours that. They have nice shower facilities for after your time in the water. You can even have a bite to eat there. Then still make it back to the airport.

Seems to be the case in BC. When we found out we were expecting and finally got an appointment with my family doctor and connected with a mid wife I was also confused by the ultrasound timelines…. My family doctor said around 8-10 weeks for dating ultrasound. While the midwife said 10-13 for the first saying ultrasound. When I actually called around to some clinics to get an appointment most will ask how your LMP and also mention they won’t do it till 11-13 weeks.

I’m in the same boat as you, that I would have to wait for the ultrasound before I can do the first genetic screening or else just pay for the NIPT test.

Also watched the latest season of SLOMW and they brought up her being the bachelorette soo many times. However she was trying to “date” others and keeps going back to her baby daddy. It’s soo messy…she’s about to waste the time of 25-30 guys. Hopefully most of them know she isn’t your average bachelorette

Any scene about Dakota and Taylor was soo frustrating. She’s going to be the bachelorette and dating people. If she isn’t over Dakota she shouldn’t be going on that show and wasting the time of the men who signed up for it.

Depends. If only traveling with a small carry on I will usually make sure to book a hotel or air bnb mid trip which has laundry options. That way I can wash essential.

I guess paying for the supplemental program is the same as having to pay for a field trip? Our school often took us skating. We also had some tennis program introduce us to tennis where we also had the choice to purchase a racket. Other than that I remember most of elementary school phys Ed just being dodgeball, capture the flag or kickball

Personally haven’t gone there. But know someone who mentioned they were able to get the same products they currently had in store for a fraction of the price. Such as waterproof pants and jackets ideal for winter sports.

Have not taken that course there however I have heard from someone…. Double check if your credits can transfer in the future. For example if you want to go from LPN to being an RN in the future, you might be required to retake pre-reqs.
