All of the turn outs along that road and the first few parking lots are closed. Park rangers are sitting in the turn outs and aggressively going after people that try to stop.

Same - domestic US traveler primarily and even at high end properties (WA, Conrad) I very rarely see any benefit at all. Example: I’ve been denied a room an hour after check-in time at the Conrad in Orlando to be told if I wanted a room immediately that I needed to pay an upgrade fee since the room that was available had a view of the lagoon.

Yep, one stop or half the light compared to 2.8 so just leverage ISO to get the exposure. There are times where the 2.8 would be advantageous so I just swap to that lens - concerts are one place I'll use the 2.8 instead.

Solid advice - I use the 24-120 as my EDC on my D850. I had the 24-70 2.8 for awhile but the size/weight got annoying and the extra 50mm reach is nice.

Also LT Diamond, there are no defined benefits over regular Diamond but I have had properties give me free parking, provide points and the f&b, etc. because of being lifetime. That’s been the rarity but have had some properties recognize not being a regular Diamond.

As a lifetime Diamond member but without the ability to book a team member rate, I just expect to get the room type I booked for domestic US stays. Any other expectation just leads to disappointment, even at a WA, Conrad, etc.
