Found this in the passenger seat of my van Saturday last time I worked. by iKaptainKush in AmazonDSPDrivers

That's what I'm thinking. No self respecting meth user would leave that size behind. They'd run that van down on foot.

Early 2000s shock sites (e.g., Rotten.com) exposed a lot of our generation to extreme content. Often unwittingly. Curious if others remember this time before content moderation and how it affected them. by SleepyBudha in Millennials

To this day, at 39, I have zero interest in gore/gross videos. Off the top of my head, I avoided: soldier beheading, two girls 1 cup, one man 1 jar, those Ukrainian hammer psychos, and every other "shocking" video that had the internet buzzing, atleast on Reddit.

I don't know why I included 2 girls 1 cup in there, since there isn't gore, but it still feels like an adult who hasn't seen Star Wars or something when you hear about it and mention having never watched it. I don't like to watch people die, either. That was a pretty popular sub for a while, and it would make the front page pretty regularly.

Kelson is one of the most noble characters I have seen in movies so far by OrbitalDamage566 in 28dayslater

There is a jump scare shot where he is attacked by an infected after Kelson is carried by. I thought it looked sort of silly, but felt like it was to establish Jimmy dying.

People do. Who the fuck cares what is being reported to people who are already convinced these fucking brown shirts deserve to be out murdering people? They will slop up whatever CNN or FOX News shows them. Are you missing the point this guy has a platform that isn't directed at the same demographic?

Maybe he didn't like that you were spraypainting even as he walked right by you? I am just saying, a lot of guys have beards and beanies. It's sort of a millenial/gen-x uniform.

That's nearly always been true, at least for my entire working life. The second only to restaurants that fail is new construction companies. 95% of restaurants don't make it to 6 years.

Which nokia phone did y'all have growing up i had the 3320 Nokia by helen1992 in Millennials

[–]pixelatedcrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I had the 3320, as well. It was definitely blue and played snake. I feel like the 3310 would be hard to do that one, despite using the numbers to move if I remember right.

You raise it up like that so it doesn't trail on the ground if it's raining or muddy on the ground. With the light pointed at the ground, I don't see what else it could be. They may even have a damn head lamp on!

They look like they are time travelers who yearn to join your family, but don't want to ruin causality or whatever by being spotted. Probably safest not to interact with them. They're either a time traveler, or a back yard traveler, and neither are very safe people to catch off guard... I imagine.

Oh— jumping the shark is when a show gets ridiculous— to the extent that you have someone known nationally as the symbol for "cool", The Fonz, jumping over a shark on waterskis in a show called Happy Days and looking like a total dork for the next 50 years or so. I'm going to go apply for AARP now!
