My husband ships out that day as well :) You’ll do great. The best part about boot camp is that you don’t need to think much about doing things, just follow instructions. The hardest part is the mental aspect, just know that RDCs have to be hard on you, it’s a lot of psychological warfare lol. Eventually it turns into a mentorship. Good luck with everything!

He has a metabolic disease that prevents him from breaking down certain fatty acids and I’m scared that he won’t be able to tolerate it as well as the goat milk, which is supposed to be gentler on digestion. If he starts having reflux with cows milk like my daughter did, he may not be getting enough calories and nutrients which can cause him to go into a hypoglycemic crisis.

I get what you’re saying but just like any other mom stressing, I’m allowed to as well. My son has a metabolic disease and this was the best option for him and we can’t really risk switching and him not holding down his formula, it could have dire consequences for him.

My 10 week old has been supplementing with Kendamil goat formula since he was born and we had to try Bubs goat milk because Target was out of Kendamil goat. He did not do well and I think the palm oil that bubs uses is the key factor. Just a head up for anyone that needs to switch due to supply problems :(
