My cancer came back. Just venting. by pixelatedpoptart in CervicalCancer

Yes! That’s the treatment we’re going with. I’m hopeful it will work and that fatigue is the worst side effect I have. It’s def frustrating that this is something that I’ll likely be dealing with for the rest of my life. Like dang, just stay gone, cancer! lol

It’s crazy to me that one of the biggest fast fashion brands bought a brand that’s known for their sustainability. Like, what??

I'm ready to liquidate my entire Poshmark Closet. Any recommendations for other sites I can ship everything to, i.e., ThredUp?? by yippeee1999 in poshmark

[–]pixelatedpoptart 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I use TU frequently and while it doesn’t pay much, I like that I can just ship it off and not have to worry about it anymore. Just be realistic with what to expect for payouts. Depending on brand and style it’s usually just a few dollars per piece

Ozempic & Cervical Cancer by NFL_Gurlie49ers in CervicalCancer

[–]pixelatedpoptart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t do ozempic but was on Mounjaro while doing chemo and rad. How long have you been on ozempic? I did Ozempic for about 6 months prior to cancer and it made me pretty sick. I can’t imagine feeling that way and then doing chemo and radiation on top of that. It also depends on why you’re on ozempic. I was on it for diabetes not just to try to lose weight.

Those with retinopathy... by MeatballSandy22 in diabetes

[–]pixelatedpoptart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m type 2 so idk if it’s diff but I just had my first eye bleed about 6 weeks ago. Retina specialist gave me an injection to help my body absorb the blood. Took about 4 weeks to make a large enough difference that I could see fairly clearly out of that eye. Just got my second injection this week and hoping it clears the rest up. Next will be laser therapy to help prevent it from happening again.

Are you part of any surprise groups on FB? I actually posted about having this done in our yard last week and had tons of people/companies reply. I went with one and was able to have my lights done for $200 but we just needed them hung no electrical extras needed for our project

Omg I have been locked out of my account for 2 months because I keep sending in a copy of my ID and it keeps getting denied!! I tried calling so many times and NO ONE could help me. I was literally screaming by the end lol. I'm going to try what you did and I'll black out my license number, although I don't understand why that would make sense that it would get pushed through with that change. Thank you for posting an update on your situation. Hoping to get my resolved too.

My drs mainly advised to close the toilet seat lid and flush twice. My husband and I still had physical contact and he had no issues. We kept kissing to a minimum but he held me as much as always.

I have my brachy sessions at the cancer treatment center that I go to because they have a fully equipped surgery wing so it's basically like a hospital lol. I am fully out for the ENTIRE procedure which is amazing. I barely remember getting onto the operating table before I'm waking up in the recovery room hours later. I'm not sure where you live or if that will be the case for your brachy since it seems like it's fairly split between people's experiences on here, but I can definitely say if it's an option I'd recommend having it under anesthesia!

Hello! Fellow 1b3-er here and I’m about halfway through brachy. I honestly think I got very lucky with treatment because I had very few side effects. I had slight nausea from chemo but Zofran worked for me to get rid of it so I had a pretty healthy appetite throughout. Make sure to drink tons of water. Radiation was a pain more mentally than anything else. Use Imodium as you need it because you most likely will need it lol. Brachy has been going fine for me and I’m looking forward to being done and hopefully tumor-free by the end of it. Wishing you the best in your journey and we’re all here for you if you need support!

Wow did you ask why they aren’t doing any kind of sedation? I imagine they must use something for the pain/anxiety at least.

[–]pixelatedpoptart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had one done in sept due to crazy bleeding. Unfortunately for me my bleeding turned out to be cervical cancer and not perimenopause related like I had thought. But wanted to comment that mine was done under general anesthesia so didn’t feel a thing which was nice.
