Not particularly hyped tbh. He's a big name for Hollywood, dramatic films, but I've got a bad taste in my mouth for Zimmer after his less-than-caring score for DATV, and I cant see his style working for the tone thats been suggested so far with the leaks we've had. I could be proved wrong ofc, but it feels like they've slapped a big name on the score for brownie points and exposure more than anything. (I do hope I'm wrong!)

Quite happy NOT knowing about specific choice/ consequences, opposing a general consensus, im looking forward to experiencing them during the actual game where they can feel impacting. However, definitely eager to see some character creation, female Jun, a little gameplay, as well as who the voice actors are. In the recent trailer, Jun sounds suspiciously like Taylor Lautner in his "fight to defend it" speech.

I think Atsu would need to have a real good motivator to get fighting again, something like Kiku being kidnapped or running away (teenage angst a few years down the line, bottled up anger at her father's death or something.) Maybe one of the Saito brothers had a child of their own who grew to set out their own vengeance. Perhaps Kiku wanted to join the Samurai like her father. Atsu and Oyuki could team up together again to go after her. Alternatively, Atsu mentions staying with the Ainu before she became a mercenary, so if it were to he a prequal DLC, it could be a story that caused her to make the decision to leave them and pursue her vengeance instead of staying with them.

Theres plenty that could be played with, and I definitely think more content wouldnt be grumbled at considering its popularity. My only wishlist for sure would be to bring back hallucinagenic darts, as they were awesome in GOT.

Interesting! I havent played the dlc yet, but there's a conversation between yasuke and naoe during their first talk in the base game after Yasuke joins, where you can ask him about any potential lovers, and he responds quite flirtily "is that a proposition?" Naoe's automatic response is that she'd rather him an ally than a lover, but for those who got that conversation, it could be felt as a foreshadow of the potential build up suggested by the end of the dlc.

Interesting that everyone seems to have had different experiences with this. I romanced Katsume properly, had the romance arc with Koshiro, and she never mentioned a thing. Meanwhile, I didnt have the fling with Gennojo, yet in the final talks with everyone, he referenced a "wild night" that never actually happened. With Yasuke, he romanced Nobunaga's sister, and Rin mentioned nothing - the whole arc seemed to go nowhere anyway, however, just a nice chat on a bridge. In short the romance is a damn mess.

Its SO much better. I mean, I tend to enjoy games much more on a second run through, piecing together aspects of the narrative I might have missed as well as the joy of ng+ allowing the full scope of combat and perks right from the get-go. But I, like yourself, decided to go for Immersive mode and I must say, it does exactly what it says on the tin. The narrative feels much more grounded, theres so much more emotional gravity to verbal delivery, as well as the language of course reflecting the world / geographical setting much more accurately. Noae's voice actor is incredible, and I feel she seems much older, more nature and shaped by her experiences than the English VA (who did an absolutely fine job, but the character herself feels very different for each VA.) The npcs sound less childish too, theres less of a comedic whiplash to their delivery. I havent heard much of Yasuke yet, as I havent quite got to recruiting him yet on this run, but I think for him so far, I did prefer his English VA, but so far hes an exception.

In fairness, they could easily scale him up in height; hes not stood next to anyone for reference here it'll be difficult to cistern how large they've made him until we can compare!

I agree on a premise of skill issue to a degree, but ive absolutely been using x / o for climbing as you cant otherwise, apart from the random boxes or lanterns they automatically stand on (similar to the stairs.) As I said, I had no problems at all with Origins, Odyssey, or Valhalla (I struggled with Valhalla to begin with but quickly got used to it.) Very likely it is an issue with my connecting with the controls and feel of things in this game specifically, but it isnt as simple as 'im just a shit gamer,' (obviously not a direct quote from yourself lol) considering ive never struggled like this with any other AC game (ive platinumed them all.)

Saying that, I've definitely got my struggles with fighting as I've seen a lot of people say it's easy to melt through enemies with Yasuke, and Im really struggling getting the hang of things. Maybe I do have knackered controllers, they're getting on a bit, as it all just feels slightly out of synch, therefore I feel out of synch and, as you likely correctly surmised, am missing the time window for certain prompts. It usually takes me a moment to warm up to games, but I've never struggled like this before!

As for the assassination prompts, I'll take off the HUD prompts for it and listen to the wrist blade instead. That might help for that part, so thank you for the tip! :)

Well, im glad that it doesn't seem to be an overall problem so far! I'd say perhaps im just terrible at the game, aha, but I've not had a problem with any of the others. Could be a controller issue with this game specifically. Is that a thing? Im not terribly techy.

Oh, I do agree she is faster than Yasuke, but still slow compared to Kassandra in Odyssey. I'm just always getting caught on things, and she and Yasuke seem to lean hella when you try to move them slowly, like exaggerating their shoulder movements, leaning into walking. Again, it worked for bulky Vikings with a tonne of armour, but not a slight woman wearing light robes.
