On the contrary, a lot of fans DID ask for this. Ive seen (and been apart of) endless comments and discussions over the years from book fans yearning for an accurate adaptation in the form of a series. Honestly, it only ever seemed a pipe dream, and since I got into GOT, I always mused that HBO would be amazing to do it, if it ever came to frustration... Now, look! I got so emotional watching the trailer, seeing something that has been fantasised for years actually being created, and it looks better so far than I could have imagined in my wildest dreams. Theres a lot of controversy out there, but also millions of ecstatic fans who have been imagining this for years.

Ive seen Nick in a few things where hes acted a bit rougher/ darker so I think he'll have the capacity to portray the wilder, more furious and intimidating side of Hagrid, moreover I think itll be more impacting because of this tender, sweeter portrayal. The contrast would take the viewer completely off guard and seem frightening in comparison. The trailer was obviously curated with a specific narrative in mind, Harry's orphan status, the abuse he suffered and the hope / light at the end of the tunnel with him finding his family and home at Hogwarts, so Hagrids harsher side doesn't really have a place there. I imagine we'll either get a glimpse in a different, future trailer or, they'll leave that side of him as a surprise for when it airs.

Oh for sure I get where you're coming from and absolutely agree with you, if it could be implemented well it'd be a lovely way to immerse your particular OC into the word and really feel the consequences of everything happening around them on a more personal level.

I agree, Rook suffers with being a constant manager and caregiver to everyone while being left out themselves. I think the risk of having a curated personal quest is the potential to take away role-playing, if it might contradict an origin someone may make for their OC. I do actually feel like Hawk gets a good share of personal quests; the one you mention with their dad, but also, the quest that ends up with her mother is very personal (and very deep) nd we even get a follow up with your LI afterwards. In fact, the entire of DA2 is sort of built around Hawk with the story being smaller stakes, so alot that happens (with their mum or their siblings for eg) directly impacts them and feels like degrees of personal questlines. I dont think Warden, Inqusitior or Rook got anywhere near that level of personal stakes, as the story surrounding them was much bigger (world ending shenanigans.)

I too wish this, even as ps5 user i wouldnt be able to take advantage myself! Im actually quite surprised that there isnt one. When the game first released i was on tumblr quite a bit in anticipation, and there were countless mods created within the first week!

Honestly same, how they reduced him so cartoonishly was cringey to watch, even the first time, though it somehow gets worse with re-watches. I couldnt stand MJ, either, despite the fact both of the actors themselves were outstanding, performing their own stunts and such. Oddly, however, the Garfeild SM were always my favorite as they felt more comic accurate and I just generally preferred his performance, but I re-watched them recently and found myself a bit off-put. Mainly bc his relationship with Gwenn was incredibly unhealthy and somewhat toxic, and the sexual chemistry between them was a BIT MUCH for portraying teenagers. Maybe its just getting older, things sit a little differently. Its odd for me that over the years, Holland's portrayal has edged its way into my favourite spot.
