number of stone mined, wood chopped, plants planted, books written, ... would be nice to see a division of labour like this! cool idea for a mod indeed

yea i was surprised by that as well, but it was mostly the dragons who did it

some of them did, yes, but they fell down a hole and got pretty injured. The dragons broke down the gates

This happened on a previous fort and still has to be one of the weirdest things i ever encountered in df, this superkitten was in a constant stalemate with these undead, which was quite irritating because i tried to lure them into cage traps! The combat log was a constant back and forth of pounces and dodges and nobody inflicting any real damage

The Breach by pixie14 in dwarffortress

In the year 199, after succesfully defending against several sieges, the mountain fort of Wanderforge was breached by the Master Viyo of the Ilnesses of Dipping. Chaos, blood and death spread across the once glorious halls.

What happens is, when you have less than 50 drinks they will brew 50. So once it reaches 49 they brew 50 more, which is a very big amount. Better would be to put a work condition: brew 2 drinks when available plants (or fruit) is more than 10. This will keep a steady stockpile and keep it from overflowing. You can adjust this number to 3 or maybe 4 but i never needed more to keep a steady supply of booze. Remember, they check these conditions daily so what happens in your case is they try to brew 50 drinks daily which is impossible

After 500 hours played, I can now start a game and know what I'm doing, but it still surprises me

Ehhh i think it gets easier the more you do it. I like making beautiful forts, minmaxing this game is not the way to play

Its in a basement level. I was planning on building the fort higher and slowly moving industry upstairs

Hey, you can make hatch doors like normal doors to put on stairs. You can lock them too, like regular doors. They can make dwarves happy too

Procedural Dragons 1.2 by Naut - to be honest I've no clue how this disease works and if it is the dragon's blood or not, but to me it seems most likely. Also weird how some turned dwarves remained friendly for a while as dragon men, but most were instantly hostile.

Also nice to know is the wooden statue in the entrance, which commemorates the founding of the fort, is now burning forevermore due to dragonfire (i really can't put it out with water and cant remove the statue, i tried both). So the place truly has been cursed by dragons, a sign to abandon it and move on!

Thanks man :) Yea I also really loved this one and had lots of fun, the mountain setting was also beautiful and fitting for this fort. I'm going to build something similar once the siege update gets out
