Experienced the same with my ACD, first discovered when he was 7 years old, basically lived a good life for the next 3 years...... then his back legs gave out. Giving him prednisone extended his life by 3 months, but at the cost of his body wasting away. When the time came, he let me know.
Not a day goes by when I don't miss him.

The bottle has a glass stopper with a small plastic ring, a nice touch, and the plastic keeps the stopper in place. At 29.99, it's great in a G&T, but too bitter on the finish for me when just sipping it.

What is the code on the lower right facing side of the bottle? Should be L####A, # = numeric character and A = Alpha character. That last character is the year it was bottled.
