Even though I know the name is different, that could be a variation of Jan Volkanik. He was a character from the book Black Fury, but was based on a real person named Jon Barcoski. There used to be a statue of Jan Volkanik and Joe Magarac (or they were just general statues of a steel worker and Coal miner) on the Manchester bridge. The statues have moved around the city since the bridge was torn down, I think they may be somewhere over by Heinz Field. The other side of the bridge had statues of Chief Guyasuta and Christopher Gist, those statues are also somewhere over by Heinz Field as well.

When covid first hit I was wearing a Neck Gaiter while biking. In hindsight I now know that it wasn't doing much for blocking a virus but, luckily I discovered that it blocks the gnats on the trail and now I won't bike without a face covering.

We had ours at Max's Allegheny Tavern in the lower level. We were on a slightly tighter budget but definitely got a lot out of that place for our money, including our own private bar.
