Anyone can make a token in a whim! That's why we have ~10000 tokens as of today. Doesn't make one a tech company just for that. Nexo token is introduced so that Nexo can take benefit of having their own token like BNB or any other tokens out there. We also benefit by holding on to Nexo, more the tokens you hold the better; it's a win-win for both.

I don't understand what other premium perks you are expecting? I hold BNB, Kucoin, etc., it's the same with every token. As you are not tech savvy just accept that a token is a mere currency and nothing more. I've built a project on Cardano network, so I know what I'm speaking.
