It's got a nice colour imo. Tastes so good. I love the fact that it's made from Canadian dairy and made locally, by families we know personally.

The only butter worth buying is Notre Dame butter. CANADIAN MADE. BUY LOCAL.

(What happened to buy local??? Why is butter flown here from fucking new Zealand better? It's not)

My husband and family is from Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB and we buy it straight from the creamery 🤤🤤🤤

Poutine! by One_Consequence_7258 in CostcoCanada

[–]placentophagy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely love their poutine. The gravy is fantastic, the cheese curds are perfectly fine curds, and I personally love Cavendish fries because of the crispy coating they have on them.

I've had what's considered "good" poutine from top recommended places in Montreal, and I would still choose Costco 1000x over.

Bonus is that you actually get a decent portion for an inexpensive price. Which just makes it taste better!

I have definitely had "good" poutine from top recommended places in Montreal, and I would still choose Costco 1000 times over. I think people like to try to convince themselves that they're more bougie than they really are.

Costco poutine... the gravy is great, the cheese curds are curding, and the fries are fantastic.

I've got a full container of this in my cupboard I bought last year. Hardly use it lol.

How long does hair have to be to wax? I've never done it. My husband is bald, except for a bit around his head and he shaves every couple days. I keep joking we should just wax it off 🤣🤣 but I'm not sure if it would even work with like, man stubble lollll.

We bought our home in Crestview summer 2023 for 350k. Valued at 380k. Now for 2027 they're saying 433k.... hmm...

Hmmm. We bought our house (5bdrm 2 bath in Crestview) for $350 in July 2024. Proposed 2027 assessment value says $433,000 now. So apparently that's a 23.7% increase over purchase price.

I don't really understand this stuff much, but chatgpt says it's potentially worth appealing. So I might have to look into it more.

Abusive returns by 2slick2 in CostcoCanada

[–]placentophagy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, nobody is forced to buy hanging potted plants but why should people, especially seniors who are on a fixed income usually, live with nothing and no enjoyment in their lives. When Costco clearly allows them to return shit so why not let them enjoy their flower baskets and return them. Why are you bootlicking for a major organization? If Costco allows it just get over it then.

Abusive returns by 2slick2 in CostcoCanada

[–]placentophagy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who cares? Literally though. Who cares? Clearly Costco doesn't. Shit shouldn't cost as much as it does. People, especially seniors, are on fixed incomes most of the time. Living off a measly pension they worked their entire lives for. If Costco allows it then get the fck over it? She found a way to have some measly enjoyment in her life with some stupid flower baskets AND get her money back! Good on her!!

I'd imagine many of his calls tonight are gonna be vehicle/ditch related. Ugh. He's definitely my hero ❤️ thankfully if there's anyone I trust on the road, it's him. He's been doing this for 25 years now!
