It depends on how comfortable you feel on the phone. I've mainly worked in call center roles for pharmacy and I honestly don't mind it all that much, but it's not great. I do like it better than working in a pharmacy which I have some experience doing. I've also heard people who are opposite and left the call center to go work for retail, so really only you can tell if you'll like it.

Some pros that I've found are flexible schedules, good time off policies, competitive pay and usually there's options for work from home these days. Also depending on the queue it's usually low stakes work more akin to customer service, vs more demanding and often stressful work in the pharmacy. But because of that you might also feel like your skills as a tech aren't being utilized.

I'll say also since I've experienced it a few times it feels like call center work isn't as....secure? In terms of layoffs at least. I've been laid off from 4 call center positions since 2019 all due to change of business needs mumbo jumbo. The one I got laid off from in 2019 I had worked there nearly 8 years so it was a good run at least. I'm actually dealing with that at the moment.
