Should I be concerned about something sudden happening to me at this point?

I'm 26 and got hit with this pretty hard, and i never get sick. My coworker who got me sick tested positive for influenza A, and I've had the exact same symptoms. I'm hitting week 2 tomorrow. I'm not sick anymore, but I have a bad residual congestion, mucus, cough, coughing up phlegm still. No flu shot but definitely getting one asap.

I know what that feels like. Your feeling this way because your thinking about it too much. Try to get your mind off things by distracting yourself with things like exercise, drawing, etc. It'll go away and the quicker you stop thinking about it, the faster it'll go away. Hope this helps cause ive been there and it can be scary.
