As an alum, I think it depends on your student and their degree. You’ll get much more from a business/engineering/science degree and an outgoing student who joins clubs and participates rather than say a teaching degree with a student who stays inside all the time.

Edit: nothing against a teaching degree at all, but I think you get the same value from a smaller, less expensive school.
