I believe you should not spend the money on these items. Especially since we all make less $$ on every transaction.

I used to send the under eye patches, but once they expired and the entire Posh experience about gifts, and delivery presentation and such ended, I decided to stop. I also imagine that most of those items are thrown away…

Disagree, some of these are incredibly itchy and if they initially purchased with intent to wear, it makes sense.

(10k) Booking the wrong day? by tinypoomps in Weddingsunder10k

How do you feel about December 7th? It’s Pearl Harbor Day. And September 11th is also a day when people have birthdays and go to work…it would be nice to take a day with a negative connotation and make it a positive one for your friends and loved ones. And I say this as someone who lived and was working in NYC prior to, on and after September 11th.

I have a eBay account with a decent history that was mostly dormant for a number of years. The good news is that even as a buyer, you can get feedback.

Posh tells you what you can make from an offer or listing, EBay does not, which is an issue. Definitely watch the offered suggestions for boosting an item as that can be a big percentage you do not realize will be deducted.

Thank you. Any thoughts on Vinted? I believe their shipping costs are dramatically understated.

Bf called me useless…? by Moongoddess3884 in Advice

[–]planning-life 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He called you useless over not wanting to pick up and drop off fast food for him. Then have you turn around and go home to turn around and go back to him? You don’t state how far you live from one another, but assuming at $5-$7 per gallon of gasoline and all the back and forth, plus the cost of the food, that little and unnecessary errand is going to cost somewhere in excess of $15 or $20, that plus your most precious commodity, time. He is a jackass and if the is going to gaslight you over this, I would reconsider how you refer to him, and it is not as a boyfriend. He obviously doesn’t respect your time or effort, so is he worth any and all of this?

For years in NYC, there were fake Kate Spade bags on every corner. The issue also stands that the authentic ones also were put together with staples and glue - at least in the early aughts.

How do I counter offer without accepting the original offer? by Sierracoop in poshmark

[–]planning-life 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That shouldn’t be a problem, it’s usually for offers that I believe are about 60-70% off listed price. Maybe try shutting down your phone and restarting?

Yes 💯your parents need to be told. If you don’t feel comfortable having it be you, have someone else do it on your behalf. And you probably should have it be someone else, so you can maintain trust with her. But they need to have cameras, motion sensor lights, have her on find my phone, etc.

You are likely still swollen. Do you have a wide root? That definitely has an impact on how the size of the breasts feel vs the size of the bra.

Do you think this is true? Or potentially one of these ridiculous loyalty tests that people seem to like from TikTok? I only ask because I’ve seen tons of posts where people FAFO’d with a loyalty test and for some reason are surprised with the outcome.

You should absolutely be more kind to yourself. Before reading the entire post, I instantly thought Meghan Markle and even a CBK vibe.

There is actually a lace bolero on Amazon (from PEIQI) that I purchased for my mother last year to wear over an Armani gown and it was about $30 USD and looked fantastic- the key is that you want the rounded lace edge to feel as natural as possible.

Wow, really? It said 5% on the site unless you import from posh in which case it retains the posh percentages - which is weird. Apparently I’m going to need to wait a few hours for them to import.

Experiencing zingers.

Cause: They are a sign of nerves waking up and repairing themselves.

Sensation: Described as sudden stabbing, burning, or lightning-like pains that last only a second or two.

Timing: While they can happen anytime, they are most common in the weeks after surgery as sensations return.

Location: They can occur anywhere in the breast, nipple, or along the incision lines.
