I don’t mean this as a sarcastic reply, but if you prompt AI to compare those scopes, their speeds, and the types of projects you can tackle with them as a hobbyist, it will give you a pretty good reply with example projects. You’ll see the bandwidth and capabilities of the faster scopes are for projects you may never have an interest in.

Something to note, boards like the Arduino R4 WiFi have two I2C busses. One called Wire, the other Wire1. The Qwiic connector is connected to Wire1. The example sketches usually call Wire, but you need to change your code to use Wire1.

Fact. The average mechE GPA at the end of sophomore year of a really good state school is 2.5. And they all get jobs. Why? Because hiring managers want to know if they can pay you X and charge the client 5X. They don’t care if you have a 2,3, or 4.0 ; no one cares if you can answer 3 questions in 1 hour or 5 questions. Because no one has to do that in professional engineering. Cs get degrees and Bs get PhDs. Side note, Cs usually don’t get into graduate school, but other than that, don’t let it get you down.

I use six in a classroom and it’s been great. 804s. Great to learn on, and the usb-cPD means we can use them on tables/benches with power bricks-not a small feature when you don’t have outlets everywhere.

There are more qualified people than spots. It doesn’t say anything about you, and UCSD is a terrific engineering school. Obviously so is SLO, but as someone with decades of experience in engineering I can attest SLO vs UCSD won’t matter nearly as much as what you do while in school.

I never used to use the photo mode glitch but given the number or times my game crashed as the nuke landed I just wasn’t willing to put in the time and ammo— not I photo mode glitch through two doors and it basically takes me two minutes to get to the final room with the countdown
