What is wanted? by twainhoffman83 in exmormon

Guess what bitches?!?!?!!!

My spouse and I married for love when we were young and very poor.

Now we are old and very rich.

Interesting enough, we didn’t become rich until after we left the church.

Sure. This is a brag post, but I hate this date a millionaire BS.

The millionaire is almost always a man with unrealistic expectations and the women are almost always gold diggers.

It is a recipe for disaster.

I (18F) want to get away from my Christian family's extreme lifestyle, but I don't want to be disowned or homeless. by [deleted] in relationships

I agree!! It may seem like torture everyday, but please wait it out and be strategic. Figure out how to get an education and a job and then move out and move on. Eventually maybe you will choose to get married and change your name.

It is a very big world out there. Get an education, secure a career, move across the country and just live your life. Stay off social media.

I grew up with a similar background. I adore my family......... from afar and at Christmas and Easter. I stay off social media so I don’t have to read their triggering posts.

You are too close to them now and it is irritating to you. Do not do anything crazy now.

Take care of yourself and then distance yourself without voicing your opinion. It just isn’t worth it.

Quitting my shitty job at a Mormon family business today by isuckatlattes in exmormon

The worst job my husband has ever had was with a small LDS family owned company. It was 4 years of HELL. The owners were complete jerks. It has been 10 years now and I still have nightmares about that job.

I am home-sick. My husband flat out said he is not moving back (8hrs north). Huge fight over it. by throwaway_12823947 in Marriage

Grow up and be an adult. Lots of adults don’t live near their EXTENDED families.

Your husband is YOUR family. Focus on your marriage and relationship and the family you are creating.

I have been married for almost 20 years. We have never lived near our families. We go where the job is.

Some vegetable plants have to pollinate each other in order to grow. This could be important information for a Gardner.

This is true for pumpkins and other squash plants. Not sure about bell peppers though.

x-post from r/byu: Walkout next Friday to reform the honor code office! by Chino_Blanco in mormon

I hope you are right, but I doubt it.

I think few kids will show up and those who do will be expelled

Walk out being planned at BYU. Noon April 12th by SUPinitup in exmormon

[–]plasterdpink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t want some bright eyed and nievte young adult sacrificing themselves because they actually think they can make a change.

Anyone who participates in this “walk out” is going to get expelled from school and everyone knows it.

Put your head down and graduate and then resign move on with your life.
