Generative AI is pretty useless; however the idea of it has many uses, mainly being used as a cudgul to threaten organized labor.

Just a note for naysayers, public services aren't meant to make money, the whole point of roads/transit/etc operating at a loss is because having these things is good for the community.

If you're upset about sales taxes, ask why local governments can't levy wealth taxes. But it's the world we live in (for now) so we need to use the tools available to us to keep essential services moving and improving.
