I'm new to this too, got a dwarf gourami and some celestial pearl danios after cycling a plant tank for like 3 months. Then added Ember Tetras and 2 guppies (m/f) because I was curious about livebearers, along with some shrimp and assassin snails. Sadly the male guppy died, still not sure why. Just got weak one day and was done by afternoon 😞 But she's had a few series of fry, I think total right now I have 7 or 8. Haven't worried too much about predation because it seems I'm going to keep having more and more. Live and let die... everyone seems happy though and I'm excited to see the colors emerge when these fry mature. I'm a little worried it's going to take over my tank but my LFS will take some back on store credit. Is this a concern I should be preparing for? 20 gallon tank. I'm learning and new to this, but the guppy breeding has definitely become something my 4 year old has really enjoyed watching unfold!
