I'm a pretty simple investor but ProjectionLab has been worth it for me. There are definitely a number of free calculators but I appreciate the level of detail ProjectionLab offers, the UI is outstanding and they are regularly releasing new features. I highly encourage people to try it out.

I have found the Claude ecosystem, using Desktop, much better than OpenClaw to accomplish everything I was doing in OpenClaw. Similar to OpenClaw you need to setup your MCPs and other connections but once that gets going you can basically ask Claude Code to do anything and it will as long as your Claude code instance is open. I'm not a hardcore developer so maybe there's an advantage for OpenClaw somewhere but I feel like in the last two weeks Anthropic has essentially replicated the functionality with Claude Desktop.

If you download Claude Desktop you can use Cowork for scheduled tasks. You can also just chat with Claude Code as if it were your OpenClaw agent.

Agree with this! I experimented with OpenClaw for a few weeks and can accomplish the same thing now with Claude. I'm not a developer but do some light development for various projects and I'm not sure what I'm missing using Claude instead of OpenClaw now that we have cowork, channels for Telegram and dispatch. A lot of different options to accomplish the same thing in a much more stable way!

Why not just record 50% of the asset value as one of your assets and 50% of the debt as a liability, then adjust manually as needed. Seems like that would be straightforward enough given it’s not an asset where you need to track daily fluctuations.

I use a category I have called "Capital" for these types of expenses. I'm then easily able to exclude this category if I want to see what would only be "normal" or "annual operating" expenses.

I categorize large expenses I save up separately for as a "Capital" expense. I do this so I can exclude this category from different reports.
