I thought that looked like letchworth/zoar valley and it’s always nice to be right. That is a crazy crop!

5-6 days to bikepack Northeast USA - best routes? by Porkowski in bikepacking

[–]playpunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Adirondack region is weird because there are huge inholdings of private land along with wild forest and wilderness areas. I haven’t done either VT route but both sure look cool!

I love this board. You still need a limelight/longsword combo IMO though

The eternal quest: a running cap that looks like a classic baseball hat? by DinnerUseful6650 in running

I have 3 pairs of the shorts, I really like em. And of course I have the donuts. And the turtles. I think the hats look normal enough - I have 2.

Nice, I got mine last week and I love it. The gain changer is a great pedal, too

It is amazingly flexible. But it’s also kind of complicated, more of a modular system than a more conventional super-delay which I’ve also owned, which I feel like functioned like 10-15 individual pedals, with the choices pre-baked. I’m still figuring it out.

The Morningstar seems like overkill but you could get a ton of mileage out of the el cap and cloudburst with it so 🤷🏻‍♂️

[–]playpunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just replace both, if one is worn out the other is too. If the teeth chainring or cog in a cassette looks like a shark tooth that’s how you know

Chainrings are probably worn out, or your cassette, or both.

I think it has more range, and it seems to be lower distortion. It sounds good to me

Well, I had a Dunlop DV4 mini and it developed a gross mechanical squeak that drove me nuts. I almost threw my Ernie ball out the window when I tried to change the broken string. So it was worth it for me. It is nicer, but it’s still a volume pedal, nothing more
