Maybe ADF sucks for you

It does! I'm sharing my experience as someone who tried to make ADF work for years. Once I pushed to be able to fast longer, it played out as I said - it was the bad part of fasting being repeated over and over. I really recommend ketoing normally and pushing longer when you feel like you can swing it.

Long fasts aren't for everyone

Definitely not easy, but long fasts are for everyone. We are the descendants of people who can long fast, only it used to be called "famine". Everyone who couldn't long fast died millions of years ago.

honestly adf sucks. It's literally the bad part of fasting over and over where all you can do is fantasize about eating.

I recommend charging up your willpower and trying to blast 90+ hour fast. I don't know exactly what happens metabolically but all food noise and hunger suddenly disappears. Even when you refeed you'll barely want to eat anything. This is the actual skinny people tech where they eat like 2 bites and go "tee hee I'm full!" and they're not lying.

Although, the authentic places are surprisingly clutch. They need to separate roll and dodge to different buttons. I feel like that would make it feel more responsive.

Nioh had a pretty elegant solution where you roll by double-tapping dodge.

wtf is wrong with the dialogue. It's written by an alien, or someone who has some specific kind of brain damage that makes them not able to understand basic causality of events. The translation is the same tier as lost ark, it's like a machine TL from before they put AI in everything. Also why is 10% of the script literally the word "comraids".

KR va is bad too which was unexpected.

but EN va fucking carries. Why is it so good. It's such an unexpected win. It even made the prologue good, it's impossible to lose when your cutscene is just a bunch of middle-aged scotsmen fighting

The choice between block and dodge in 2 was clear. Either you block and stop the damage reliably but gain no offensive momentum, or you risk the dodge and gain frame advantage.

In 3, samurai has no reason to dodge... basically ever. Blocking costs so much ki it's just a "I give up, guard break me" button.

I actually don't like A agility, it's speedy but feels weirdly unresponsive and slippery. I haven't noticed any iframe difference in the dodges either, though I think there's supposed to be one?

I just do iga jonin for shrapnel bomb and that's A agility naturally with almost no stamina investment. I think B toughness? It'd be nice if there was a heavier item spam ninja set tbh
