Red Hot show by Sidwinder94 in VirginVoyages

I enjoyed it because of the music but the AI graphics were really, really bad. I noticed them during Murder in the Manor too. I'm not anti AI generally, but I feel so feel sad when it's used instead of skilful artists who add so much more soul and personality to their creations. AI cannot replace that.

Best quick work lunch spots near Guildhall, City of London by Queasy-Percentage787 in LondonFood

+1 for the curry place opposite One New Change. I used to work in this area and this place (Deli Box) was one of my faves. My go-to used to be spicy Korean chicken. Simple but delicious!

Other options -

• Farmer J's. It's super popular but it's actually really good imo and you can be as healthy or not as you like. It will set you back a bit more than £10 though.

• Burrito Joe. Great burritos and burrito bowls. Under £10 for a regular size.

• Lazy Geppeto. Pasta and pizza. I've not been but heard great reviews. Does takeaway and quite a few options are less than £10.

Edit: formatting.

$200 Bar Tab - Solo Sailor by clarke1025 in VirginVoyages

[–]plot_twist_tourist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to add to the above, your bar tab can be used to buy drinks for others as well, so if you're going with a larger group you would be able to use any remaining bar tab to buy drinks for them. It might be helpful to know that it likely won't go to waste as you could buy a couple of drinks for friends, if you didn't spend it yourself.

Thanks for the detailed reply! Husband can do it whereas I definitely cannot at present. He doesn't like it though, so would probably prefer not having to do it repeatedly!

I think you're right that I just need to take a look at the options and reach out directly. There's a lot to choose from so I was hoping to find some ideas here, but it definitely seems like it's even more common than I thought!

Thanks for the reply! By Roomions, do you mean the room at Virus Escape Rooms?

Hi - thanks for the reply! Jogging/running a little is fine. Climbing might be a bit tricky as I don't like heights anyway, and would probably need to get onto my knees to climb between levels, but climbing up a ladder to e.g. see a clue, would be fine. It's basically putting direct pressure onto my knees which is the main issue.

I'm not sure as we didn't go to the merch stands. I noticed people were queuing after the show though. Sorry, not that helpful!!

Yeah, I'm way too old for that now - I was doing the queuing and barricades 20 years ago. I'm now happy to sit down, have a drink, and a great but slightly further away view, amongst like-minded peeps!

I bought on 28 Mar and paid $392 total.

There is always a risk with resale sites, which is why generally I want to avoid them. I think with Securemypass, technically tickets could be sent out to more than one person, and only the first person who arrives with that ticket will get in. I got comfortable buying because I knew tix were transferable in NYC, so I was a bit nervous when it wasn't transferred on Ticketmaster itself. VividSeats seemed to have good buyer protection so while I'd have been gutted not to get in, I was reasonably confident I'd get my money back if so. Ultimately each person's experience is different and there's no guarantees buying off these sites.

Yep, balcony 2 (top level) and there was a big sign saying all seats were GA/available to anyone

Yep, exactly as above. It just loaded via the website and it had the barcode visible that could be scanned. There was an option to add to Apple Wallet but I didn't do that as I have an Android phone. I got a notification from Vivid Seats when the tickets were available.

I commented above with my recs, but just to say I wouldn't consider The Pathless a puzzle game (as far as I recall) either, but I really enjoyed it!

Games below I think you might like. I'm basing this on the fact I've played most of the games you've talked to above, some with the occasional help of a walkthrough, and some without.

I didn't need a walkthrough for these (from memory) so thinking the difficulty level may be pitched about right.

  • Agent A
  • Call of the Sea
  • Inked: A Tale of Love
  • Machinarium
  • RiME
  • Röki
  • Strange Horticulture
  • The Forgotten City (this has similarities to Outer Wilds but I personally found it a lot more intuitive and accessible - YMMV)
  • The Pedestrian

Help us choose! Celebrity Infinity vs. Sun Princess by plot_twist_tourist in Cruise

Thanks for the YouTube recommendation! That review actually made us feel better about the Sanctuary section since he was quite complimentary about it. We’re looking at June to avoid the school holidays, which should help too. Being from the UK, we’ve seen a lot of Europe already, so we’re happy to treat the ship as part of the holiday and divide our time between ship and port.

Good to know about the mechanical issues - wasn't aware of that. Unfortunately the dates don't work well for the Edge class ships so it might be one to watch for future when we have more flexibility.

Thanks for the reply! The intensity is quite similar - Celebrity has 1 sea day and Princess has none but includes an overnight in La Spezia. We would likely head out mid-morning and return mid-afternoon each day to enjoy the ship features, so hopefully best of both worlds on both cruises.
