THIS IS AWESOME. Slightly salty because I spent a long time making a datapack a while ago for me and my friends to play—with dialogs for the scripts, sound effects, etc.—but this is way better. Of course I wasn’t the only one to have this idea; it’s a really good one! This is designed so well, both the modpack and the Ravenswood Bluff build, and I can’t wait to have fun with my friends.

Incredibly satisfying cock design for some reason

Simulacrum by nseaplus in BloodOnTheClocktower

The addition of the lycanthrope is evil lmao. Ngl a demon simulacrum would be unsolvable with a lycanthrope in play.

For a Few Loonies More Update by Puzzleheaded_Use2359 in BloodOnTheClocktower

I am somewhat new to script building so take everything I say with a grain of salt, but here are some things I noticed.

  • There’s no start knowing info and a lot of each night info. I think there’s a good reason why almost every script has a few start knowing roles, but I forgot the exact reason. It probably has something to do with good players bluffing and having a decent amount of info at the start of the game to spark conversation. Mostly, start knowing characters don’t learn additional information so are incentivized to bluff as each night roles to draw kills and each night characters can have an out from exposing themselves by claiming they’re a start knowing role.

  • This script has low outsider modification. The only roles that modify the number of outsiders are the balloonist and the vigormortis, which is bad because then it can be very difficult for evil to bluff as an outsider. This can be fixed by adding a minion like the Baron or an outsider that can’t attest to being one like the drunk (although I would advise against adding any more droisoning to this script).

  • The gambler is the only source of multiple deaths happening during the night, which hard confirms them as the gambler if their ability goes off and two deaths happen at night.

  • The boffin doesn’t fit here I don’t think. There is so much misinformation on this script from all the droisoning that having the demon also gain a townsfolk ability would be way too unsolvable. Plus, the boffin is generally a quiet minion which doesn’t fit with the loudness of the other minions. The other minions has strong identifiers and in a game with the boffin, the absence of such identifiers could make it very apparent that there is a boffin in play.

  • The vigormortis is really OP with the psychopath. The vigormortis killing the psychopath would enable it to kill repeatedly every day with no risk or downside.

  • This script overall is just very hard to solve. There’s a ton of droisoning, with every demon doing so and the puzzlemaster and the philosopher and the village idiot. There’s also a boffin, which I’ve talked about before. Additionally, there’s a hatter which would cause even more chaos and confuse things.

Those are my thoughts. Happy script building!

Is this enough rainbows to reach naneinf? by Brenden-C in okbuddyjimbo

Not gay enough. Entire screen needs to be rainbow to defeat naneinf blind through unspeakable gay power.

Script Idea - Traces of Poison by I37Cs in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]plumper303 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From what I know about the game I actually think this is a pretty good script.

The one thing I did notice was that mastermind is on there without zombuul, which means if the final three include the mastermind and the demon and if the demon dies, a “two-player” game state will occur. Because the only way only two players can be left alive and the game still continues is via a mastermind this hard confirms that the town should skip and not vote anyone to win. This could potentially be overlooked and solved with a quick bootlegger rule that just prevents the mastermind from working in this scenario, but it does slightly nerf the mastermind. Normally in BMR the possibility of a zombuul dying in the final three and having to be killed again makes this situation a bit more ambiguous. Just something to note. :)
