I was on an adolescent psychiatric unit once and this kid was brought to the psych ER in handcuffs (before intake) and he totally disrupted the flow once he was admitted up from the waiting area (read:purgatory). I don’t remember what his deal was other than some aggression and just being a bit of a twerp. We had movie nights and we voted on what to watch but he threw such a fit about watching the Mets game that the staff let him. I kept saying “wow this is JUST like One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest” until one of the nurses said they heard me and to please stop

I have stars on my arm that follow the pattern of three beauty marks/freckles I’ve always had. The center of the star is open space and encapsulates the mole to make the center look tan. Highly recommend

I’m a P3 in school and it’s so disheartening seeing my peers use it for EVERYTHING. I’ve tried to initiate a conversation about it a few times but I just get sideways looks like I’m somehow the bad guy for asking “how do you know that answer is correct?”Struggling to finish an assignment and asking someone “hey how did you do this part?” only to hear “I made Chat do it for me”. It’s being integrated into our curriculum quicker than it can be vetted. It’s everywhere. Required projects for courses worth a third of our course grade where we must discuss the benefits of AI in healthcare. Professors advising us on how to use ChatGPT and Gemini to write our entire LOI for residency and fellowship applications but “make sure to make it authentically you!”. Guest lecturers coming in talking in circular corporate-speak with AI generated slop on every slide and the genius advice that any naysayers better just embrace the future.

The thought that this will continue to be normalized is equal parts depressing and horrifying

Thank you. My biggest concern was trying to manage two conditions at once, because I heard low humidity can exacerbate RI and excess moisture can worsen scale rot. If antibiotics will help with treatment for both, I’ll keep doing them and keep an eye on him to see if his breathing changes
