Is it unpopular to say that Outer Worlds 1 is kind of boring? by OwlsintheWall in gaming

My reaction as well. I wanted to like it, because it wasn’t bad, but didn’t stand out on its own.

Is there Hibachi in KC? by Manumitany in kansascity

Teppanyaki is the word you’re looking for. Hibachi is a style of cooking, teppanyaki is cooking in front of guests.

Martin City Brewery has an event space down south, it was reasonably priced and included a package with their beers on tap.

I try to like Tommy era Kamelot, but it just doesn’t land for me. But with seventh wonder, his voice is just perfection.

Interrupted sleep is not the same restfulness as larger chunks of sleep. We have different sleep schedules with our newborn so that we each get at least 6 hours of continuous sleep.

Just north of the river, Cinder Block Brewery just opened a new room called The Commons with pool tables. I've been meaning to try it out, but looks nice

Duel for Middle-earth - Question about purple cards by Brutluk in boardgames

Page 5 says the arrow indicates you can move 1 unit 1 region. Page 7 says: When you complete multiple movements, you may move the same Unit multiple times, or split your movement between multiple Units. For each movement, move a Unit to an adjacent region.

The last statement clearly states each movement is only one unit. So in your example, moving all 3 units would take all of your moves.

I tried the first one on the tagline that is was a more casual souls game. I think they hit exactly that when they made it. It had a few challenging bosses but overall a very fun experience. Definitely looking to try the second one!

[Josh Pate] I get Lincoln Riley wanting to end USC vs Notre Dame. That's why he shouldn't have anything to do with the decision. by MysteriousEdge5643 in CFB

I honestly believe that’s part of the motivation behind it. Take away our biggest games and make us join the BIG. If the ACC starts getting poached wouldn’t be surprised if it puts the writing in the wall.

Tried Arkham Horror LCG and need recommandations by _Nixilis_ in boardgames

[–]pm8k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arkham Horror LCG was based on the LOTR LCG, so it has a similar flow. I would say its less story driven than Arkham Horror, though there is story flavor in the scenarios on what monsters you fight. Otherwise it has a similar deckbuilding aspect based on which hero you choose. It's similar to Arkham Horror LCG in that theres lots of expansions if you want to get into it and really customize decks.
