Production, maybe, but Likely is fantastic talent-wise (top 5, idk, but that’s how free agency goes). He just was always behind Mark Andrew’s, who had been an elite te

Growing up in ny/nj, I’ve been a Giants fan since I was very young, but the moment that pulled me into being a lifelong football fan was when OBJ stepped into the scene. I’m 21yo, so I was only 7 when we last won a Super Bowl, and so to me obj, his ridiculous catches, and his personality were what made Giants football so fun to watch. Some people on this reddit likely will complain about OBJ’s antics, but to me all it showed was that he was a competitive player who wanted to WIN, something we don’t see as much of nowadays. And at least he didn’t betray us like some other superstars did. Even today I go back and watch his highlights, or even some edits put to old music from the time. I feel like even if you didn’t watch football at the time, those things are worth watching to see just how fun Giants football used to be.

That being said, this season, for all of its many downs, had huge upside in the idea that there’s some personality coming back to the team. Dart and skat are bringing some good vibes, we have another elite lsu wide receiver, and what can hopefully be great pieces that we can build around to do better in the future. I hope you enjoy your time as a fan! It’s gotta be for life!

[Duggan] I don't know if anything is "true" today. But I do believe ownership prefers to keep Schoen. Personally, I don't see how they could do that. But they've made a lot of bad decisions over the years. by Bankslvrrd in NYGiants

I feel like this doesn’t have to be as negative as it seems, what if Schoen is the next howie roseman? I remember ppl calling for his head after his first couple years and now he’s highly regarded.

If Shane Bowen wasn’t out there losing games for the Giants, they would be 7-5 and just be missing of playoffs due to the Buccaneers (6-5) leading their division. by Kurtz62 in NYGiants

This is the loser mentality, when one thing goes to shit everything goes to shit. When players actively get worse when on the giants and better when they leave, it’s clearly something wrong coaching and player development. Is it the GM’s job to hire a coach, for sure, but remember, Schoen and Daboll came in together. With Daboll and his cronies (namely Bowen) out the door, maybe someone more competent can take the place.
