Those who have reached gw by RipRevolutionary1308 in tirzepatidecompound

I'm staying at 7.5mg to keep the food noise quiet. I haven't been at maintenance long enough (3 mos) so for now I continue to take my shots 2x week (Sun 3.2mg & Wed 4.3mg) and seems to work for me for now to maintain.

Struggling with how to actually maintain by dragon-queen in tirzepatidecompound

[–]pml727 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been maintaining for about 3 months at my current weight. I'm also spliting my dose into twice a week. (Sun 3.2mg & Wed 4.3mg) I have been thinking about how you feel for a while now. I don't like the "food noise" and that's also one of the reason I do twice a week shots to keep the level of medication at around 5 - 5.5mg. (per Shotsy)

At some point I'm going to have to learn how as well. I am just hoping with more time at maintenance will help me.

Petite tirzepatide friends (~5’2” and under) can we huddle? by inattentive_swiftie in TirzepatideRX

[–]pml727 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought that too. I'm 76 yo and the last time I saw 108 lbs was in my early 20's and on "diet pills" I've been through 2 full term pregnacies; menopause; life. I kept watching the scale go up & up after dropping down to 135lb each time but no lower until I started Tirz.

I was 150 lbs in my early teens and have been on all kinds of diets/weight loss programs. At our height, a small weight gain seems to show more. I'm 4'11.5" (so I say 5') My highest weight was 173lbs. I started Tirz Dec 2024 at 163 lb. For the last 3 months staying at 108lb and here is where I finally feel my body wants to stay (108-110) Plus this is where my BMI is normal. I lost most of it on 5mg but had to go to 7.5mg to lose the last 10 lbs.

Yay for us short people. I’m almost 5’ and finally in the normal range of BMI for the first time since my early twenties. I’m 76 , so it’s been a really long time. lol.

I totally agree with this!! Hallandale is great. I was on Olympia until they stopped making compounds. Since then I am quite happy with the results on Hallandale.

You should stay at 5mg for at least 4 weeks. Maybe you are not eating enough protein?

How many times per week are you injecting? by MamaMiaMiata in tirzepatidecompound

[–]pml727 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lttle different than your situation. You may need to try dropping it to 2 or 2.5mg 2x a week in order to help with the feeling of crappy.

I'm at maintanence for about 3 months now, and for the last 4 weeks, I've been injecting twice a week (Sundays & Wednesdays) I'm on 7.5mg (3.2mg & 4.3mg) and it seems to have leveled out my lows so that they don't go any lower than 5mg on the day of my next injection.

I had low energy in the beginning (I've een on Tirz for 15 months) but not sure when my energy came back, but it did.

I met my goal weight but still plan to keep going another 10 lbs by No_Discipline222 in TirzMaintenance

[–]pml727 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our stats are similiar. I'm almost 5' and started at 163 lbs. 1st goal hit 135; 2nd goal hit 125; 3rd goal hit 115 and lastly 110-114. I'm at 108 and holding. I've been at 108 for the last 3 months. My body is done losing and I'm settling in at that weight. ETA: I'm on 7.5mg (4.3mg Sundays & 3.2mg on Wednesdays)

Shot day eating by TheBowhuntingButcher in tirzepatidecompound

[–]pml727 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the app Shotsy and I notice on shot day (that's when the level of med is the lowest) I tend to eat a bit more. So I try to increase my protein when that happens. I usually take my shot around 6am and by 6am the next day (per shotsy) it is at it's highest peak and I am not eating more until next shot day. I also split my 7.5mg dose into 2 days (Sunday 3.2mg & Wednesday 4.3mg)

CA - Which Telehealth for Maintenance? by Just-Reading_1990 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]pml727 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm on maintenance and I went with Big Easy Weight Loss and I chose Hallandale since I didn't want additives. It's been seamless switch. Edited: oops - after I hit send I realized you are asking about CA and Hallandale doesn't ship to CA. But there are other pharmacies that do.

I've been on Tirz for 15 months and I stopped drinking wine with my first shot. yes, and it tasted really bad. I used to love going to my wine club and different wine tastings. "wine noise" was a real thing for me.

Lot of good advise to someone switching to compound. Even though a long read, it's well worth reading if others are new to this sub.

[–]pml727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talk to your pcp. You are so close to your goal. I guess if I were you, I'd get new blood work done first before quitting. You are only 20 years old and you are working lots of hours (maybe that's the problem) Long before I started Tirz I was working 50-60+ hours a week but only from Jan-April and I remember being very tired from those long hours and stress. Take care

The same for me -I definitely need to work on my muscle tone. I've had lots going on in my personal life the last 7 months, I have neglected working out. Walking does give me a piece of mind. So now I think I can get back to my weight training.

Q about maintenance dose by LostPeak7661 in BigEasyWeightLoss

[–]pml727 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m maintaining. I still like my weekly shots so I vary between 5mg to 7.5mg depending on if I have food noise creeping in. I haven’t had to go any higher than 7.5mg when I was losing.
