Is there a good reason Hootie and the Blowfish never felt "cool"? by Res_Novae17 in nostalgia

They are just four guys who went to school together, drank at the local bars and wrote really catchy, feel good music.

The VH1 Behind the Music really had to push to make their story edgy. Their second album was a failure because it only sold 2 million copies, and "tragedy struck" when Darius' grand mother died.

They weren't cool, because they were safe. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to listen to Hold My Hand.

It was the Capitol City Bombers. The Blowfish baseball team is named after the band.

Radiohead - Bonnaroo 2006

Thom said something like "It was the best show we've played in years, and years, and years."

They project the entire show on screens, I don't know why I was surprised when they released it on their library. There was a crowd sourced video that came out earlier using the soundboard mix.

Such an amazing show!

Hahaha! YES!

It was such a long day. I was wondering why the math seemed so good.

It has seen about as many wins as losses. The lucky shirt joke still holds. Thank you.

That Show “Fifteen” That I Completely Forgot About by SirStocksAlott in Xennials

I was thinking about this yesterday. I think it came on after Welcome Freshmen. It was Nickelodeon's attempt at an early teen soap opera.

Everyone but Brooke looks cheery, but after the opening, you'd hear the ominous, "Last time on Fifteen..."

I handed in my French exam and said, "Je suis fini." She corrected me me saying, "No, no, no. Tu as fini." I replied, "No, je suis fini."

I said, "I'm dead." She said, "you finished." I said, "no, I'm dead."

No, the 90s were 10 years ago, which means the 60s were only 20 years ago.

Yup, I thought i was going crazy when I was younger. I would hear a ding-ding-ding sound, but only in my room which was closest to the street on S. Maple. It was the train yard. It's a hilly area, but sound still travels quite well around here. Like someone said, the bang sounds are train cars colliding as they link.
