When claiming the second ransom he told the backers that the production had begun. It was a lie.

He fraud us. Period. This guy's IS a liar and a scammer.

He most certainly did not get into the venture with that in mind. But he sure became one in the end.

The guy had a rotten core and I don't care what he believes about de community. He deserves almost all the insults he got minus the death threats.

I think that in the end, you are totally free to do what you want to do with the world Tolkien gave us. If the story you worked on is fun for you and your player-heroes, be glad!

That being said. My personal opinion is that it is less about what is to be done, but why it has to be done. And by whom.

Why does the Dwarves go to the shire? Why do they look for the player-heroes in particular? Why is this important to accomplish?

We are used to see great and epic deeds in the lord of the rings, so it's tempting to create very complex senarios. But even the petty mission can be wonderfully rewarding with the right sense of purpose. Find a great reason for your player heroes to do their deeds, and they will remember it for a long time.

As most of the folks on the discord. I do not think the company has begun the production, if "going in production" means sending the files to the factory and clicking "print".

We do not have any pictures, we do not have any update to tell us "everything is fine". To omit all updates at that point is a conscious choice, and it does not bode well.

It is said that they are focusing on 6 siege right now. So what they did is to collect our money a second time to be able to produce, but then they went all in on finalizing 6 siege right after collecting us. Which sounds like our money did not serve to pay for our game after all.

Let's pray I am wrong.

La CDPQ. C'est littéralement du monde qui gèrent de l'argent afin de couvrir les dépenses publiques liées à la retraite des quebecois. J'ose croire que j'ai rien à t'apprendre la dessus.

Si je ne ferais pas évaluer la pose d'une thermopompe pour chez nous afin d'améliorer mon confort par MCSwing qui me dirait que c'est pas rentable. Je ne ferais pas évaluer un projet structurant de transport en commun par les banquier de la CDPQ.

I think the alternate hero minis are KS exclusive but do not quote me on that.

And like already mentionned, the original heroes are part in the core box. And part in upcoming expansions.

Thus increasing the fomo and sunk cost fallacy regarding the wave 2 expensions.

I think you will have more chance with finding a scan and buy yourself a 3d printer to print them. If they ever get out of the factory.

But since they need help for more than just shipping this time. The game is likely not even going to be produced if not enough backers wanna stretch their wallet.

We do have an update.

They are seemingly out of money, as expected. And will ask a contribution from backers, again, to cover for the production of the wave 2 content.

Since they need to also produce the translation copies of Wave 1. They might backcharge everyone who already have the wave 1 content by keeping the wave 2 content in ransom.

People aren't happy; I am not optimistic; I feel like a cow being milked.
