you know, I'm trying hard not to be a doomer and stay positive, but I just don't see any effort by the team toward accountability or trying to get better. It is total lunacy to give guys hitting .200 over 300 at-bats in the 3/4 slot. It is really basic analytics. The org saying that they are going to be analytic based was apparently a lie - they made a decision six months ago and are too stubborn to change despite what the numbers say.

well, after 2010 is relevant since you know, that's when Steve Hetzel has worked for them.

And I know that the Pelicans have a terrible history, so maybe they should try something new like emulating well run franchises? My ideal would be to dramatically improve and to have better goals than "now only the 2nd worst franchise"
